| This dude knocked out a chick in less than 40 seconds in his last pro fight. Problem? I'll just say again, no amount of physical mutilation, drugs, or psychiatric therapy is gonna change the fact that dude has the same chromosomal composition as you and I, willingness to believe that is not relevant because it makes it no less true. | |

| She is eligible to compete in the Olympics and LPGA against women. So while you have you guys have your opinions this is obviously a more complex issue then you want to acknowledge. Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue like it is. I'm not saying I agree with it but like TRT some people have a problem with it being unnatural, but obviously the rules say otherwise. Maybe it's clear to me or you but obviously this thing isn't so clear to the people making the call. That is really all I'm trying to say. You guys can refuse to acknowledge it, but it doesn't make it any less real. This is just the beginning too. | |

| This is not complex, I'm not confused about who transsexual people are. They are people who have chosen to identify their gender in contrast of what their actual gender is through the avenues I've mentioned; artificial drugging, physical mutilation and/or psychiatric therapy. No amount of those activities will change one's gender, they might fool others visually and make the individual more comfortable with themselves and believe they have in fact changed their gender, but gender is differentiated by the XX and XY chromosomes. | |

Then why is it even an issue they are looking at? If it wasn't complex then why waste time by looking into it? Why has she/he not been banned from fighting women already?

| Because the commission was kept in the dark about him actually being a man until after he beat up that chick. | |

Well they are in the light now. Why is there no ruling? Why is this on the yahoo front page and all over the MMA sites? Why is this an issue if it's not complex? The information is out there now, yet no ruling. If it was so cut and dry then why is there no ruling right now? Why is the CEO of Invicta saying it's complex and interesting? Your thoughts or my thoughts on whether it should be an issue is irrelevant, since it is in fact an issue.

| Alyssa Vasquez, who faced Fox in an amateur bout in Rockford, Ill., this past April, and did so without any idea that Fox was a transgender woman.
"I consider myself to be a pretty strong female, and she's hands down the strongest person I've ever fought," Vasquez told MMAjunkie.com.
According to Vasquez, Fox immediately shot for a takedown, achieved full mount, then eventually transitioned from a triangle choke to an armbar finish just over a minute into the fight. Fox's strength was evident right away, Vasquez said, which led her to suspect that the loss might not have been completely legitimate.
"I thought she was taking steroids or testosterone or some type of enhancing substance," Vasquez said. "That's what I assumed."
Only later did she hear rumors that Fox was transgender, which, she said, "honestly was not a shock."

| Answer my question. If it's not complex, then why is she not banned right now? When the info came out then why didn't they just make the ruling if it's so easy? Why is this a story still if it's so easy? | |

The convolution of discrimination laws makes common sense decisions difficult, US law could be in contract to natural law, wouldn't be the first time. There could be lawsuit ramifications by telling this guy he can't fight women anymore. Fair labor and anti-discrimination violations by a state run commission are the issue under the skin.

| OU, Please go to the politics section. Take a break from this transgender talk to answer a more important issue for a concerned ninja.
Thank you | |

Point made. This is an issue whether you or I think it should be or not. This was never about our personal opinions because that will not change the fact that this is an issue currently being discussed. If it was so "easy" it would have never even made it this far. The story would be more like the 22 year old man that went back to high school for a second chance to get a basketball scholarship. It would read "man banned from MMA for pretending to be woman". But it's not, it's a far more complex issue.

Is that a woman to you Should Fox be allowed to fight against women My personal opinions really don't mean anything since it won't make this any more or less of an issue. But since you asked, it's kinda of a woman and I'm not sure if she should be fighting women, probably not. I do think it's possible that over time and being on female hormones that the physical advantages she would have had would disappear.

| Let me get this right.. OU hates on Chael, Barnett and other fighters for basically having a gimmick, but on the other hand OU is half way supporting the most disgusting thing that could happen to Mma in that of a shemale???
Come on dude, ain't nobody got time for that.
NOTE: this "transgender" bs is exactly that, bs. A dude with a artificial vagina is still a dude, and a female with a wang is still Ali's dream.... Jk lol.
But seriously fuck this topic it is a no brainer. No pun intended.

But seriously fuck this topic it is a no brainer. No pun intended. I never gave any kind of support. I just pointed out the obvious. It's an issue whether anyone wants it to be or not. It's not up to you or me and the people it is up to are not calling it easy. That's a fact. Also what is the connect to the douchebags you listed? I don't get that at all.

| Chael is the man.
My point was you go on tears about how chael and Barnett act their way through the ranks, and how unfair steroids are. But then you kinda think its ok for this? I guarantee this Fallon guy has to get test injections to stay healthy. So male chromosomes + testosterone therapy = woman? Don't think so brochacho. Only thing feminine about this dude is that he had his wiener chopped.
Hope this thread gets trashed.

Hope this thread gets trashed. I never said it was OK. You do realize that she is elibable to compete in the Olympics as a women right? You do realize she could be a professional golfer in the LPGA, she qualifies for both. There are much smarter people then you out there saying that years of hormone therapy will erase whatever advantage she would have had as a man. I never said one time I thought she should be allowed to fight. I only pointed out that this is very clearly much more complex then most of you want to beleive. But that seems to be too much for you to grasp. Also I don't have to support those idiots no matter what I think about completely unrelated issues. Those men are portraying characters that I find annoying that has nothing to do with this situation in any way. With all the issues you have going on you are the last one that should be casting judgement on this person. You're as big of a head case as this bitch/butch/shehe.

| What a surprise, OU gets pointed out for sounding like an idiot, and immediately goes for personal attacks.
You are wrong on this and if you believe in the deceptive bullshit, then you are the head case.
how would you feel if you had a girlfriend or wife for 10 years and she revealed she is a man? "Oh it's ok babe, science changed all of that."??? Fuck no I bet you'd beat his ass then become and alcoholic and suffer from PTSD.

It's even on Yahoo and ESPN! I didn't make this story, I didn't make any of the decisions. I don't make the call. I barely even inserted my opinion in this topic. You are the immature one that needs to take a step back before you start pointing fingers. You're just a meathead though and I don't think possess the ability. That's what I think of you.

You made it obvious, without saying, that you don't have a problem with the matter at hand. If not why couldn't you answer GDP?
Idc what happens with this really, the guy will never be heard of after he is accepted.
I am however concerned with your political views. Are you sure you are from Oklahoma?

I am however concerned with your political views. Are you sure you are from Oklahoma? A person sexuality and sexual preferences are none of my business. To each their own. I don't have all the information so It's not right for me to cast judgement on what is right or wrong. But it's clearly something they are currently discussing and even if it's just PC bullshit it's still a complex issue. People far more qualified then me will make the call. Do you think it's right that she can compete in the Olympics as a female? Will your answer change the fact that she is eligible? I had no idea that people could get a sex change and compete in the Olympics as the opposite sex. That surprised me.
