| Yeah as much as I love BJ GSP seems to have his number and Im not sure if Dana would want to throw BJ in against him again. | |

| It will probably be a number one contender fight, and it's gonna bring in the big bucks. | |

| GSP V Penn does not interest me GSP is too strong for BJ, now Condit VS Penn, or Condit V Diaz sounds very good | |

| Fitch deserves a shot before Penn. |

He just dropped two rounds to Penn. That was a b.s decision. Fitch won rounds 2 and 3. |

| Here is what will happen.
If Penn beat Nick then GSP moves up and fights Anderson. Then a new title will be awarded to the winner of Fitch-Penn.
If Nick Beats Penn then he'll fight for the title. GSP wins them moves up. He has cleaned out the division without a shadow of a doubt.

| The more I think about it. Why did they pull Nick from the title fight and give him to BJ. If what he did was bad enough to get pulled from the title fight he shouldn't be on the card. It smells alittle fishy to me.
But for BJ this is great, he gets a great name opponent, IMO a highlight KO win gives BJ a title shot winning any other way leads to a Fitch rematch. I mean it's great for Nick to. You really taught him a lesson Dana. Miss the press conf and I'll take you off the main event and put you in what could be one of the ufcs greatest fights ever on the same card, still gonna bank win or lose.

| Wasn't Condit vs BJ a #1 contender fight? I assume this will be the same. | |

Obviously a chance to fight for the belt and headline a card is better than not headlining a card and not fighting for a title even though you get a huge fight. I personally think Diaz needed a fight like this to earn the title. His only semi legit win is Daley who just lost again and is 1-3 in his last 4 fights in the big leagues. He probably loses the chance of getting PPV buys bonus too.

| So he gets a paycut for what Dana acted like was the worst thing he could do next to pulling a Paul Daley. | |

He still had a top ranked guy that said he was ready to fight. The UFC still gets something out of Nick and still punishes him in the process. They are giving him another shot to step up.

| Would be hard to decline B.J a shot if he defeats Nick, but still, I can't get that beating Fitch gave him out of my head. |

He gets a paycut for not being a professional and doing part of his job. He needs to grow up. The UFC could have easily cut him. He should be thankful he's not stuck in Bellator.

I bet we would have seen Marquardt vs Diaz somewhere if Nick was cut. Not sure I see him running over to Jay Hieron and Ben Askren.
