Shields beats GSP or Hominick beats Aldo?

Which is more likely to happen?

I'll put down Tim for Shields beating GSP.

The Machine. He's got crisper hands, not out of the question that he lands on a nice counter on Aldo. I think Jose will be very cautious in this fight though

I think you are spot on. I don't think Aldo will destroy Hominick.

Jake. But I think both have a shot.

I personally give Hominick more of a chance to win depending on where this fight takes place. He does have a path to victory depending on how good Aldo's takedowns are. Shields is pretty much dead in the water here. GSP strikes from too far out to shoot on and he's not getting subbed by anything but a choke really. Shields isn't a master of submissions, he's a choke submission guy and really only uses them to advance his position. Positioning is everything for Jake and finishing the fight is purely secondary. If an opening is available he'll go for it but getting mount is paramount for Jake. I just don't see how he can get GSP down let alone hold him long enough to advance to mount.

wow I took hominik but didn't expect to see the poll at 5 to 1 for him. I think it's a horrible matchup for shields. In my opinion he has a shot but the only way he wins is if he sub's gsp and I don't think that happens.

It's probably a mix of things ranging from GSP just being a flat out superior athlete with the tools to handle this fight just as well if not better than fights past to Silva/Leites.

Nobody has seen Aldo tested yet either and Hominick can test him for sure.
