If Cali legalizes weed?

I said that is why I would legalize it but I would put very strict sanctions on it. I also disagree with the whole alcohol is legal so weed should be! People throw it out there alot but they are two different things.

Dude that shit has been going on here in northeast ohio for years now...welcome to the club. Now you can see one of the very many reasons that I have a short fuse these days from all the stress.

Over 8,000 abandoned homes in my former hometown...hell the suburb I live in, i've counted 30 abandoned homes within like a two square mile radius of where I live now...IN A SUBURB! You guys in the other states that dont live in the rust belt... I.e. (Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania) dont have a clue yet...but its coming.

Dude I get it though...I smoked weed. Yeah, it mellows you out..so what? I dont see any actual benefits out of smoking weed man.

I still think so even though you guys seem to embrace the negative stereotypes of pot smokers. I know so many successful people who blaze so i know what the truth is, i've educated myself on the subject, some of you still haven't and that's discouraging. The fact that you guys want to judge people negatively for using a plant to enjoy themselves? When you know damn well you do some shit that is probably way worse. I just wish people would educate themselves on this subject before blasting it.

Stupid people shouldn't do anything that impairs their judgment. But responsible people shouldn't be penalized for those morons. Most dumbass potheads are dumbass' without weed. Take away weed and they are probably a dumbass alcoholic.
Point is responsible adults that know how to carry themselves should be allowed to enjoy weed.

There have never been very few deaths related to Marijuana, 85,000 deaths per year are related to alcohol.

Learned that in like the 1st grade...if someone fucks something up...we all get penalized for it...matter of fact...that was something the marine corps instructors tried to instill in me and other recruits in the pool functions that we did...one guy does something stupid....we'd all get fucked for it.

well you asked me not to compare alcohol and pot. That said im gonna have to ask you not to compare the effects. I have literally smoked way more weed than anyone should in one day. Guess what happened? I got really high, laughed at a lot of stupid things, went to sleep and woke up the next morning and was back to normal.

My sister on the other hand is one of those people who is completely against smoking pot, and yet goes out and get's wasted drunk. One night she had a few to many and i ended up having to drive her to the emergency room. She puked all over the car and me, and then had to get her stomach pumped so she wouldn't die.

one time I smoked too much and I fell alseep. I escaped that dangerous situation though, I learned my lesson.

No it's because one impairs your judgment more than the other.

How about health related problems, what about addictiveness?

Marijuana has some of the same side effects as what you can read on over the counter perscritpion drugs, so should those be illegal?

Definitely see ur point and remeber I am FOR legalizing weed, but any thing that is abused can have bad effects on people. I tend to drink far more than most when i am in the mood to drink and have never had any problems at all because u most be responsible in no matter what u do. I feel bad for ur sister but fact is she was very irrespnsible that not. I also have smoked tons of weed and ur right u hit a certain point and thats it ur just stoned but to say u can do all ur basic functions at work or inlife while u are stoned out of ur mind that tells me u need harder challenges in ur day to day life LOL.

Not what I said at all! I told u I am for it being legal and I dont even smoke it anymore. I think it should be sanctioned and if used right it is fine. I drink to enjoy myself and laugh and have fun and I dont want to dog u for doing the same.
