- That Gil vs Eddie matchup really needs to happen.
they called out Coker and Gill last night once again, Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said they'd do it in san jose under the strikeforce banner just to make it happen! I hope they make it 5 rounds, even if neither title is on the line. As much as i'd like that, i cant see it happening... if at all the fight happens Wasn't Gil vs Aoki 5 rounds? Was a title on the line in that one? Not sure if the SF title was up for grabs or not, can't remember. *edit* I guess it was for the SF title.

- Maynard just beats everybody without dominating. Huerta lost his last fight to Pat Curran. Alvarez lost to Aoki who got dominated by Gilbert. Dominating a 3rd rate organization and beating no top 20 talent doesn't put you in the top 5.
matchups make fights though, i'm just saying that eddie looked unstoppable and don't forget, eddie lost to aoki 2 years ago! his BJJ is so much better today Gilbert beat Aoki 16 months after Aoki made Alvarez tap in only 90 seconds. |

| What has happened though that shows Alvarez can exploit a Gilbert weakness? nothing. |

the fact that he has better boxing and is much quicker than Gill, id say he has better BJJ at this point in time, wrestling is a push IMO

| If he is better than Gilbert at everything he should've beat Aoki then. |

| What about Aldo. He might be the only guy I would confidently pick to be better than and beat Eddie. | |
