| Randy take a lot of shit for his fighting style, but people forget his base is Greco-Roman wrestling. So he literally fights to his style and some people don't like it. It doesn't bother me, because I actually enjoy Greco-Roman wrestling. | |

Want to know why there was no "If they fought in Pride thread"? because neither fighter did A lot of people did think Vera won - I'm close to being one of them. The difference here is that nobody, not even you, thinks Rampage won. You're disappointed in how he lost, and I agree with that mindset, but it is what it is. Losing that way is no less of a loss than getting KTFO or submitted. Hate on MMA rules/judging that reward people for doing that crap, don't hate on the people who do it. If I have a $200k win bonus and a title shot on the line you can be damn sure I'd be doing the same thing, you would too. I thought the Pride thing was regarding the different organizations rules and ring vs cage and I interpreted the question to be more along the lines of "what if they fought under Pride rules". It's not exactly a balanced question if what you're asking is "who would have won if this fight in an imaginary world if it was fought half a decade ago where Rampage didn't really film a movie, he was in his prime, they're in another organization - one which Rampage has fought in 17 times previously to Rashad's zero, and in another hemisphere". | It was that, but it wasn't brought up regarding the Randy/Vera fight because unlike Page, neither fighter ever fought in Pride.
It was a play off basically saying what if the cage wasn't there for Rashad to hold Page against for 10 minutes.

| So that play isn't valid for Randy and Vera? Wouldn't it be more valid since significantly more fighting took place against the cage and Randy was intent on holding against the cage where Rashad was actively working for takedowns the whole time? Was it supposed to be implied that the question was only valid due to Rampage fighting in Pride? LA stop this. Just stop. | |

You do realize half the people agree with me on this and Page is winning this poll 10-5? Randy/Vera was never initially even thought of, and when Thessy asked why a thread such as this wasn't made following their fight, I replied simply because they were never Pride fighters so the thought never popped into anyones head a the time. And Rashad was not actively looking for takedowns the whole time, not at all, at times yes, but overall mostly just hugging and stalling. Also don't play like that was't Rashad's intent, he himself said it was part of their plan, isn't that a Jackson special these days?

| LA did you or did you not swear at the TV after the Rashad fight? Did you take out any of your frustrations on one of your unsuspecting boys at the party? | |

| If the Rampage who fought Hendo showed up, he would humilate Rashad under any rules.
Too bad the Rampage who fought Keith Jardine showed up.

| How do we know that? Dan isn't known for being a speedster, and didn't even try to set up the takedowns like the amazing first round slam with strikes like Evans did.
Rampage is a one trick pony, and Hendo is a born and bred favorable match up. Hendo was baited into stupid exchanges, Rashad would have none of it.
