Mousasi would be fucking destroyed in the UFC LHW division

I totally disagree on mousasi. He has always been overrated. He never beat a top LHW or a top MW. He subbed dennis kang and so did belcher big deal. He subbed someone with no ground game in manhoef, BIG DEAL. He got a lucky up kick on Jacare. He was easily taken down by jacare also what makes you think he can stuff ANY takedowns.

Solid points Wolf, but it wasn't just Mo's great wrestling pedigree that's required to take down Mousasi. THroughout his career from Denis Kang to Jacare, he's been suspect to takedowns.

Rashad Evans and Rampage could do the same with little trouble -- and I think these guys have way better wrestling than you are giving credit for. Just because Rampage didn't wrestle at the division one level doesn't mean he's weak there. Remember him stuffing Kevin Randleman back in Pride or wrestling with, um, Dan Henderson. And wrestling at the division 1 level is really, really impressive. Rashad has made a pretty nice career off of that base. Are either of these guys Mo? No. But what they are is well-rounded.

Mousasi was over valued, and I always argued that he was weak to wrestlers, but all this "OMG HE WOULD GET DESTROYED IN THE UFC HES GARBAGE HAJAJAJAAGHAHAHAHAHA" shit is embarrassing knee jerk douchebaggery of the highest order.

Most of you would consider punching your own self in the face if you ran into you at a hooters watching this shit free on PPV.

He has fought top competition and won already so no. Mousasi has not. Not only has he beat them he beat the crap out of them. That is a question with Dos santos though, how will he defend the takedown against those beasts. The answer is he won't.

Probably, but who do you rank ahead of him? At the LHW level there is a load of guys that are legit top ten contenders. You can't say the same at HW.

Yet I am the only one who isn't absolutely shocked here besides you, but considering the context of the sport and this fight, I am not ready to say Mousasi is some fucking bum who can't win fights in the UFC. The two guys fighting for the title couldn't do what Mo did like he did.

But he was never even close to Machida in my eyes or some of the guys in this thread

The difference is that Machida has ridiculous takedown defense and Rua has the kind of groundgame you don't want to test.

Please read what I am saying. I said this could happen from the beginning. Styles make fights. This isn't a shock. Mousasi is still a fantastic fighter and could still test guys like Shogun, Rashad, Forrest, Machida and other top UFC fighters.

Find a division where top quality, Olympic wrestlers are waltzing into the top ten in 2, 4, 8 fights.

I think your stretching it now though. I do think if someone beats those 2 fighters it would be a great wrestler, BUT there is NO comparison between them and Mousasi. Like LA said they are already proven.
