- Bones athleticism is literally unmatched in the HW division. Brock is an impressive athlete but he has nowhere near the overall fighting skill that Bones already has at 22 years old. He's not even close to his prime yet and when he gets there I think he would be a dominant force at HW.
I agree his size, speed combonation could be unreal later on. Let the guy fill out a little bit and he may be one scary mother fucker. Could be another freak athlete.

| Yeah Brock doesn't have the same skill level as Fedor either, but it's possible he could beat him because he enormous and ridiculously strong, the great equalizers. Cain would give Bones fits at HW, Dos would be close to as fast standing with better striking. I'm in the stay at LHW camp personally. | |

But you have to take into account that Bones is only 22 and his body isn't even close to filled out yet. Cain's body is filled out already and JDS isn't a youngster like Bones. He's going to put on weight as anyone does as they grow older and his body fills out. Sooner could be onto something, it may be difficult for him to make 205 when he's say 26 or 27.

| Bones is just smaller than those guys plain and simple. Short of a burst of Overeem muscle growth his 25th year, he will always be a Randy Couture type LHW-HW and never a true HW. | |

I don't know about that, Randy isn't 6'5, Jones has a much better frame for adding mass. He could easily have Randy by 20lbs. if he wanted to move to HW.

| Overeem is actually the perfect example. He had a similar build and frame as Bones early in his career. Here he is in 05, a 6'5" 205er. Jones could easily balloon up to a solid 235-245 without the help of roids. | |

| He is fully grown man now and of course he will be different in 5 years but as long as he keeps training and dieting he should be fine. Wand was able to make 205 since he was 20 years old and is now making 185 and he dont have a history of cutting weight like Bones. | |

Wand isn't 6'5, also look at Wand when he was 22 and tell me his body hasn't changed. He had to make an attempt and complete diet change just to cut that weight. We are talking about letting Jones natually get bigger the way his body would natually. The guy could be 240+ easy by the time he is 27. Jones has a much bigger frame and can put on much more mass then Wand ever could, just not a good example IMO.

I'm pretty sure Bones is a fully grown man. He would need to jump on the Overeem diet to be competitive at HW. Of course he's full grown but his body has not filled out. He's not going to get any taller but his body still has some maturing to do.

| Average male continues to grow until about the age of 25. Bones is a huge light heavyweight. He will probably end up being a fairly good sized heavyweight naturally. He can always pack on muscle and weight though, he has plenty of time. | |

| He'll never be as big as 250 without being fat or using steroids. Cats outside of Golden Glory don't add that much muscle after 22 without "horsemeat". | |
