Bones Jones Vs Vera 109

Just read a post with a source on sherdog this fight is in the works. The only thing jones has not dealt with is some solid MT. I got jones via whatever he pulls out of the hat. bones jones FTW. "mmajunkie.com"

This fight may have gone from bad to worse for Vera, he's gonna get his ass handed to him.

Vera gas a better chance against Bones then Rogerio I think but will still lose.

Vera is a poor man's Jones

Jones will win this one. I see that guy as the UFC champ in a year or so.

Longer than that, Machida and Shogun are much farther along than him, and the era of one and done TUF over achievers is over.

However he is what Vera looked like several years ago. He could be champion some day.


Or he could turn into Vera nowdays. Anyway if he wins this I officially switch bandwagons from Vera to Jones entirely.

I hate Brandon Vera, but people who think Jon is just going to run through him are very delusional. Vera will be the best striker and wrestler that Jones has ever fought in his career and if Hamill could land strikes on Jon, Vera sure kind.

Hamill landed strikes on Jones? All i remeber is that sick throw and that barrage of elbows and punches.

I agree with u Ninja I hate Vera also but ur right to in the fact that people are delusional if they think vera will just get crushed. I will even take it a step further and say Im leaning towards picking Vera in the fight. I didnt think he looked great against Randy but who does most of the time. I also think he has been in with far better competition and will be ready for whatever Bones throws at him.

I think style-wise it will be an interesting fight but Jones is the better fighter and will win
