| Another good interview. He touched on Nog, touched on Fedor, touched on Brock and also talked about his charity with autism. Randy is awesome. | |

nerves maybe? I agree though, not much energy there. Also he didn't seem too sure about Gina and how she is going to handle this loss.

| Ya, from what I gather there Gina may not want to continue fighting. Or at the very least training properly so she can be competitive. | |

Sounds almost like Cyborg broke her will. Randy said she was use to being the bully and just being a better athlete then her opponents, then she fought Cyborg and that is exactly what happened to her. Randy makes it sound like he is unsure whether she can mentally overcome this.

Randy makes it sound like he is unsure whether she can mentally overcome this. That would be weak. Unless she thinks it's time to start popping out babies I'd be very dissapointed if she does not get back in the cage. A champion would view the Cyborg fight as reason to take her training to a new level, not scale it back.

| I got called out just as he started to discuss Gina, so I missed that part as well as the Fedor talk if there was any. I agree that Randy sounded odd. No emotion and very tired sounding. I thought it was interesting to hear him discuss possibilities at 205, but definitely wants another shot at Lesnar. I don't see a different result next time around as Lesnar keeps improving, and Randy keeps aging... | |

I found it strange that Randy thinks the way to beat Brock is out wrestle him. He said put him against the cage and put him on his back(easier said then done). It's going to take a talented wrestler and a nice game plan to do that. I think Randy has the best shot. Rome asked him if Fedor made the wrong decision. He started off by saying Randy has built his brand and knows Fedor is trying to build his brand and then asked Randy if he made the right move. Randy said he understands Fedor wanting the cross promotion to build his brand but eventually if he really wants the competition he has to come to the UFC.

| Well, Randy has always been one of the more intelligent guys in the sport. He is right about Fedor to a point. But I think most would agree that very few fighters even pose an interesting challenge to Fedor... And there's probably just as many outside the UFC as in the UFC. We all just want to see Fedor v. Brock for our own entertainment. What I do agree with however is that Fedor needs the UFC to become the big name in the sport to more than just the hard core fans.
Off to PT... Woohoo | |
