| Very strong main event. I did not expect it to deliver to that level. I expected fireworks and something memorable but not a 5 round battle. We got both. I thought if Diaz was going to get redemption it would happen quick or if Noons was going to repeat the first fight it would happen quick of course. This was a great fight.
I was amazed by the post fight stats at the amount punches and percentage Noons landed on Diaz. I had Diaz winning the fight 48-47 before seeing those stats but i think this is a fight that might require multiple viewings. Fight Metric had a different take and said Diaz landed more. I believe fight metric...i just don't think Noons landed that many more shots and i didnt have him winning the fight. Each round was close except for 1(Diaz) and 2(Noons).
I think Noons proved that the first fight was not really a fluke. Noons absolutely dominated the 2nd round and i thought he took the 4th. He was landing good shots throughout. Diaz just simply improved since then or atleast made the proper adjustments for KJ. Diaz utilized his reach and jab beautifully in this fight...Noons worked a good jab as well but was not getting in on Diaz as well as he did the first time around. Great fight. I enjoyed it. One of my favorite fights this year and maybe the best of all the Strikeforce main events since they went on Showtime.

based on what? Not much happened beside clinch work, but Coenen landed the only worthwhile exchanges of each rnd.

| It was 1-1 going into the 3rd for Coenen and Kaufman, you did get the feeling Marloes reach, quickness and well-rdedness were gonna win her the fight though. Sarah looked slow.
When the UFC says fighters are top fighters in the World it's true and realistic, Gil as #1 and Thompson and JZ top 5 isn't.
I hate the SF crew, Mauro is brutal these days, anyone else hate the fireworks and smoke on the intros?

| As for the rest of the card.
I think JZ won that fight. It was not mad, or suprised by the decision but i thought JZ did more in the 1st round. He rocked JT and i thought he threatened with his submission more than JT's last second arm triangle which was not going to finish the fight with 10 seconds left. Round 2 was all JT. Round 3 was all JZ. I don't think it was a hard fight to score. I thought Gil, although biased had it right. JZ won that fight and JT got the hometown decision..but like i said, i was not suprised he got it or really upset by it. He did finish round 1 strong and the guys who scored it 29-28 probably felt he stole the round although i disagree. The bitch who had it 30-27 needs to be taken to the back. Props to Josh for calling that judge out on that BS score....in what world does JT win anything in round 3? All he did was gesture to the camera.
Excellent performance by Coenen. Kaufman was overmatched skill wise(not physically of course) and you can see she was resorting to her Greg Jackson tutelage in stalling the fight when she was getting worked in the stand up by a more diverse striker in Coenen. I just didnt see how Kaufman was going to win that fight WITHOUT hugging Coenen the entire time or landing the big punch. On the ground, it was just a matter of time becauce Coenen was getting way too close to locking something in far too easily and than Kaufman got reckless trying to end it...once again, very impressed by Marloes.
Impressed by Woodley. I still think his best win is Nathan Coy because i've never been impressed with Andre Galvao as it pertains to mixed martial arts. However, to dispose of Galvao THAT easily is impressive.
Good card. I enjoyed it. I wish it had an extra fight and less BS'ing in between fights.
And less Mauro.

UFC has a bunch of top guys, but not all the top guys. That's all Im saying. But do not point to Rogan hyping up fighters as being realistic, when less then 24 hrs ago u were mocking Freak for quoting Rogan.

| Huh? I said, "When the UFC says fighters are top fighters in the World it's true and realistic, Gil as #1 and Thompson and JZ top 5 isn't." You know this is true, not sure why you're arguing it, goes with you disagreeing with me just to do it thing though.

Didn't know we had a specific foundation here, it was Gil who said he was #1 actually and who said Thompson and JZ were top 5. But If i have to I'll hold more weight on what Goldie and Rogan says over any SF crew guy, not that they're always correct themselves, but the SF guys are ridiculous.

I've already said that putting them 2 top 5 is unrealistic. Im just noting that all promotions hype their fighters. Which they do. and again, you are disagreeing with me. It's not about u.

| so this: "When the UFC says fighters are top fighters in the World it's true and realistic, Gil as #1 and Thompson and JZ top 5 isn't."
was not in response to this: "As far as the SF crew hyping their fighters(JZ, thomson top 5), this is standard procedure, UFC does it all the time, but it's gone on so long over there, that their word's have become "truth". But I think it would have been a little more acceptable if they said top 10."
It came 2 posts after mine.

| It was Gil who said that, and we both know the UFC guys are more realistic anyways, sure they have lapses, but they don't go totally off their rocker. It's not even about the crews, when the UFC talks up fighters, it pretty much true Dana on down, when SF does it, it gets a bit crazy Coker on down, like when he was talking Batista could do well like Brock in MMA, they are irrational. | |

| they are all irrational. Again u were mocking Freak for quoting Rogan, but now "it's pretty much true what the UFC says from Dana on down." Total contradiction.
But Im out. suns about to rise here in the east.

| Not at all, total spin job, I also said the UFC crew have lapses and aren't always correct, but I'd hold more weight in what they say then the SF crew. The UFC as a whole, "Dana on down" are more rational then SF as a whole "Coker on down".

Going up against the wrong person Ya LA, serious internet tough guy. Hey remember the time you got so mad you threatened to come kick my ass, over some thread here. Good times. Learn basic fight promotion. What would you have these guys say "well our guys are average kind of and possibly top ten, there are rational arguments either way" Bet that would sell a lot of fights.

Bet that would sell a lot of fights. Still wish I could, but that isn't internet tough guy, it's called arguing I know fight promotion, but SF goes too far, and it was Gil who said all that shit tonight.

| Gil could easily make a case when JZ, Thompson etc have been top ten level talent much longer than Evan Dunham or Aussie George. | |
