| Im sure this has been brought up on the ESPN side of things, but i watched this fight again on YouTube a couple weeks ago. I figure the rematch is inevitable because i think Noons will be in Strikeforce and the first guy he'll fight is Nick. Who do you think wins this fight? i want to say Nick only lost because of the cuts but he was just getting outclassed in that first round. Koons appeared to be a much quicker and more polished boxer, and Nick could not take Koons down and he tried a bunch of times. Obviously, it was just one round but Nick did look outclassed there.
Do you want to see this rematch and who do you think wins?

| Well first Noons(much like Le) needs to get his ass back in the cage.
And I agree that Noon's dominated that 1st round. and to an extent shows what a good boxer(and noons isn't even that great a boxer) can do in MMA if he has good take down defense. Now would Diaz's presistence eventually overwhelm noons? maybe, but again Noons def kicked his ass in that 1st round.
Problem with the matchup is that 1st fight was at 155 I believe, and Nick is not going to make that weight anymore. Would Noons move up in weight? I dunno. So until Noons gets back in the cage it's hard for me to judge.

| Noons said he will fight at welterweight. I think he has in the past. That would be more ideal for Nick Diaz. | |

| If Diaz is stubborn and tries to box the boxer he will lose again. | |

That's what got him cut, but once he realized he was getting school...like in the first couple minutes of the fight he went for a multiple takedowns and failed, or got hit again. Noons takedown defense was great and when Diaz did get him down and tried to work some BJJ he got right back up. Idk, tough matchup for Diaz. Somebody better than him at boxing with good takedown defense is just a bad matchup.

| Noons should agree to this fight only if he makes Nick slim down to at least 168.
Nick probably just wouldn't slim down that much, miss weight and beat his ass though. Nick looks like crap when he over cuts. The cut for the Denny fight made him look really weak after those weight making issues before it.

| diaz always takes alot of punishment in most of his fights, well untill recently. He keeps improving and winning fights while Noons is somewhere losing to c level boxers in non televised fights. Give me nick by submission if a rematch happens. | |

| Didn't Nick have some surgery to shave some bone off of those inbreeder brows so he wouldn't cut quite so easy? | |

| If he doesn't cut, I think he beats any LW but 3 or 4 on the planet and there might only be 6 or 7 WW's that can take him to be honest... As long as he's on his game and his head is in the right place and not bleeding all over, he's damn tough at those lower weights.. | |

| I don't see Diaz as a factor at LW at all. His body can't handle those cuts. | |

Did LTFG just compliment Nick Diaz? Better document time and place Oggy... I guarantee I will never give a Diaz props again. Well, unless you consider the response I'm about to give Wolf props...

Depends on how he approaches it. If it's a one time fight and he doesn't plan on staying or cutting properly, you're probably right. But if he were to decide to make it his home like Diego and keep in shape and close to weight, I think he could do it. But we all know it isn't what he wants.

| well i think his ideal weight is ww, but i wouldn't be opposed to seeing him move up in weight for better opponents and bigger fights. But i would love to see him in the ufc ww division. | |

| LTFG, no need to land on him for that. That was actually one of his best posts in history.
Diaz said he'd fight at 205. That would be interesting.
