| LOL I think everyone misunderstood my statement and/or is actually worried Boise gets in. I said they had the best non-conference schedule and that is proven by the current BCS projections. They have a very good chance to end up behind Oregon, Ohio State, a 1 loss SEC, and the OU-Nebraska winner. They are currently in first by a wide margin but have an ever weakening schedule while everyone else's schedule gets tougher. Boise needs Va Tech to win the ACC (very possible) and needs Oregon State to beat Oregon (HIGHLY unlikely). Even with that happening an undefeated Big Ten team would still face an undefeated Big 12 team. | |

How is that? Boise only played Virgina Tech and Oregon State. Oregon State is only one ranked by one poll. And thats 24. OU beat Air Force and Florida State. Both of them are ranked right now by both polls. |

Do you go off of the sanctioning bodies or Dan Rafael's rankings or do you rate people yourself? I think Va Tech and Oregon State are both close to equal with Florida State. I think Air Force is significantly below those 3. Look at Sagarin's ranking and you see FSU 10, OSU 11, Va Tech 19, and Air Force 27. All the rankings are subjective and I go with my evaluation of resume. OSU has lost to 2 top 5 teams and beat a top 15 team on the road. Va Tech lost to Boise and then lost a letdown game 5 days later against a game JMU. They went on to beat NC State, a very solid and hot team. FSU beat my very much overrated Canes who are now unranked. Air Force's signature win is BYU (2-4), at Wyoming (2-4), or Navy.

James Madison. Florida State would kill every one of those teams. Its no contest. When one of your best wins is against a team who lost to James Madison you have nothing to compare to. |

But really come on. Va Tech? Give me a fucking break. I'm with you on Va Tech. I think FSU is a much better team. But personally I would say Oregon St is slightly better then Air Force. Wouldn't mind seeing that play out. Oregon St is a weird team though.

| When FSU plays NC State, I think you will be singing a different tune. I can't believe you defend Air Force the way you do. | |

We will see how Air Force is when they play Utah. They win that game will you give them more respect? IMO FSU is as good or better then any team in the ACC...although that isn't saying much.

| Of course I will. If they can beat Utah or TCU, I will automatically give OU the edge over Boise. I think it will be fun to revisit this thread each week | |

I cant believe you are defending a team who lost to James Madison. James Madison is 1 spot below Texas in the computer rankings and is 15+ spots ahead of Air Force's best win.

Yeah they have that big 17-13 win over powerhouse Towson. http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/_/id/119/towson-tigers

Now your defending James Madison? And you are using a ranking system. I thought you didnt go off of those? I am defending them because I watch FCS football too and they are pretty salty. I root for the SIU Salukis in the MVC and I think they are gonna make the playoffs again. I choose which rankings I like (the ones that benefit my cause). I prefer Ring Magazine over all others and I prefer the computer rankings over the biased human polls in CFB (and actually always have). The human polls offend my intellect when examples such as USC east rolling Bama leaves Bama ahead of USC and tOSU being a heavy #1 with their best win being over a now unranked Canes team at home are commonplace. I thought you OU fans would get a kick out of Texas being ranked by JMU.

| Updates on the 4 teams we've been debating about:
Air Force on the road couldn't deal with powerhouse San Diego State. After losing their all purpose stud James Rogers, Oregon State lost by a 2pt conversion in 2OT. FSU at home struggled with BC (who Va Tech on the road beat 19-0) Va Tech rolled through inept Wake Forest.
Not a good week for OU or Boise State as far as non-conf SOS.

Florida State like I said will win their conference. Air Force will still win 10 games and it doesnt matter who Va Tech beats they lost to an FCS they are horrible. Also Texas beat Nebraska so it wasnt all bad for OU. |

| We will see about FSU winning the ACC. As for Va Tech still sucking, they are ranked the same as Air Force was last week in the vaunted human polls you were using. We need some type of bet about Air Force winning 10 games. They have 5 wins with 6 games counting the bowl game left. They still have to play Utah and TCU. They won't win either and will probably lose their bowl game. That puts them at 8 wins. | |

I think they upset Utah. And who knows with TCU they damn sure are not really a top 15 team. Same with Boise. Both of them being ranked that high is a joke and a fad. |

I think Air Force has no chance against either. They just lost to SDSU and have not had an impressive win yet. I think you just have a problem with non-AQ teams.

Yeah TCU and Boise suck dick that's why they are both in the top 3 of the LV Poll. Stunning that just because a team isn't from a power conference you just write them off. How ignorant.

What amazes me is that sooners is rejecting these 2 when they have beat Oregon State, Va Tech, Baylor, and SMU but Air Force, who struggled with Wyoming while both these teams dominated, is a completely legit team that is gonna win 10 games. If you don't want to give Boise or TCU credit, you cannot possibly give Air Force any credit.
