Wlad Klitschko vs. Sam Peter - lets score it!

I don't think he fought that cautious tonight. He was throwing shots and bludgeoning Peter's face. Peter is a tough SOB, and you have to beat him absolutely down to get him hurt.

Now, if Wlad had thrown more right hands against Chambers, Chagaev, etc... he would have had earlier knockouts. Of course, most of those guys didn't stand there and try like Peter did. Most of them ran.

Yeah my problem is Wladimir is too cautious for his own good, the man has the ability and power to finish his opponents quicker and be a little more adventurous.

There is a reason why HBO are no longer broadcasting his fights.

Calderon is ten times more exciting than Wladimir.

Let's break that down. Too cautious for his own good-FACT Wlad has KO'd 10 of last 11 challengers and avoided nobody

Not adventerous-Yeah like THAT's how we measure fighters. Willie pep or Sweet Pea ring any bells? he is adventerous enough to WRECK top contenders. Other guys are so adventerous they throw TWELVE punches a round and will NOT fight everybody.

Yeah like I care what HBO's boxing decisions are. We hammer them here every day.

Like I said, the problem is yours.

You allow yourself to be dazzled by stats when the rounds leading up to those stoppages have been uninteresting.

Marble, I was bored to too. I'll say this. I saw the fight for free, so my boredom was my problem. If I paid for the action, it would be Wlad's problem. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I just saw a quality fight. This HW division is one of the worst, if not "the" worst division I've ever seen. The Klits are getting paid Ft. Knox for fighting these mediocre fights. Actually, I'm being conservative with my critiques.

Yeah but so what? You were bored. I wasn't. 40,000 paying fans weren't. Wlad fought an excellent fight. I agree the heavies stink. But that ain't Wlad's fault. It is everyone else's who can't beat him's fault.

Of course alot of the rounds are uninteresting.

The opponent lands no punches. He lands alot of punches. The opponent either runs (most fights) or tonight is a tough SOB who was going to take every shot until he was almost dead.

Teddy Atlas made a fool of himself once again. What a buffoon. I really hope Povetken wakes up and fires Atlas before Teddy destroys his promising career, he's already cost Sasha 2 million bucks.

Fair enough, but it doesn't help when the brothers choose to tediously break down their opponents instead of piling on the pressure.
