I don't recall seeing Juarez getting knocked down that often, Linares has some pop in his punches.

never realized linares was so big for this weight class.

Juarez has been outclassed.

When Linares got KO'd in 1 round over a year ago, Dougie Fisher said that there were rumors before the fight that Linares was struggling mightily with making weight. He ran into a good puncher who stretched him.

Whether or not weight had anythign to do with it, who knows.

Tonight he looks very good.

Juarez's best round was the 8th.

There were also rumors that he got dropped in sparring. If anyone knows the deal I'd love to know. Haven't found anything on it in the English or Spanish media except for rumors.

Juarez always comes up short in big fights, Linares seems to have issues with his right hand.

maybe losing was a good thing and he'll improve. he's looking great tonight flooring rocky for the first time. rocky has no answers for those uppercuts.

Same old story with Rocky, he comes on strong late but is way behind on the cards.

So Linares speaks japanese. That makes sense as he has been based in Japan and was promoted by a Japanese company for a while.

If this was 12 rounds, Juarez would be doing better. As it is, Linares only has to survive 3 mins to win by a wide margin.

I scored it 7-3 for Linares. So a 5 pt margin on my card and I score it:
97-92 for Linares

Same Linares too. Stamina's always been an issue for him. He looked solid though. Good fight for him.

Surely this is the last biggish fight for Juarez, he's 1-5-1 in his last 7 fights.
