Groves had been teeing off for a few rounds at that point. It wasn't a terrible stoppage.

Guerrero all the way up to junior welter. He's moved up alot in weight in a relatively short time period.

His team must thing Casa doesn't have much left.

Alot of boxers move up divisions quickly now to chase paydays and fight names, nobody seems to have the patience to clear out divisions anymore.

Wasn't it only a couple years ago that Guerrero was a featherweight ?

This has to be a final paycheck fight. It was what, like 2 years ago that Marquez took Casamayor out late (summer 2008). I think earlier in 2008 is when Casa was in an absolute war with Katsidis, with both guys down, and hurt badly during the fight.


He should have retired after the Marquez fight.

Well Guerrero looks strong at the weight, maybe Golden Boy could remake the Katsidis fight after tonight.

Guererro fought at 126 for a while. You can tell he hasn't fought at 140 before (heck i don't think he had more than a couple of fights at 130 and a couple at 135).
