HBO fights tonight - Jean Pascal vs. Chad Dawson - let's score it!

I say he drops from the P4P list.

I see Dawsons point, he does felt he really lose because it didnt go the full distance and Pascal did headbutt a few times through the fight. At least he admits he didnt win. He was a sore loser, but it happens when a guy isnt use to losing.

I think he handled that a lot better than most fighters. He gave Pascal his due and denied that his shoulder was an issue. That's a lot more than most people giving excuses. But he lost a lot of non-fans tonight.

Dawson's performance makes me long for the days of Mate Parlov.

i didint see anything past 4th round just saying though cant really blame a guy for complaining about a head butt when Tyson is still crying 13 years later about Evanders haha

Only way Dawson gets back o HBO now is if he faces Cloud, and after tonight Cloud's chances have risen significantly.

if it were in America the judges probably would have had Dawson winning 8 rounds to 3 like the Alexander debacle

Marvin Camel on a bad day was better than Dawson.

He got thoroughly dominated throughout the fight. He got wobbled bad in the 8th I think. He wasn't really headbutted much throughout the fight. The butt that ended the fight is one he initiated. So that excuse doesn't hold up. He went on to say he was gonna stop him, but there was no real indication of that. He was beating Pascal up in the 11th, but Pascal looked like he could've lasted another round.

Dawson's argument seemed to be, he was on his way to knocking Pascal out in the 11th, when once again Pascal 'purposely' headbutted him...

Having a bad night and not trying are completely different. And it is a tough crowd.

Pascal withstood a wicked, desperate barrage from Chad. He showed guts.

And to think before tonight I ranked Chad as high as #3 on my p4p list.
