For those picking Carwin, how does he beat Brock?

Just curious how exactly yall expect this fight to go.

I think for once carwin will see the second round. I think they will feel each other out for a minute or two and then brock will control the wrestling in the first. Come the second about a minute in shane clips brock and brock stumbles and shane sworms in for the kill. shane tko in the second.

If Shane doesn't finish Brock in the first I see him getting wore down for a ground and pound stoppage in the third.

Couture was able to buzz Brock, but he's got much better boxing than Shane.

Kings AV is so wide that it stretches out the entire page.

This is how it might go down imo. Carwin has been training with GSP's camp and Greg Jackson so I think he will have more gas in his tank than Brock. I hope I am wrong???

Absolutely correct.

Couture's boxing is better than Carwin's. Carwin's stand up is not that good. All he ever does is throw jab-cross after jab-cross and move straight forward. He hasn't mix it up. He doesn't move side to side well. And he doesn't cover with his right when he throws his jab.

Everyone needs to go watch his fights in 84, 89, and 96 (I think those are the 3 UFCs). Even though he wins all of those with a TKO, he does the same basic thing on the feet and in all the fights he gets tagged in the face with only Gonzaga stunning him.

I like and respect Carwin, but everyone needs to open their eyes and look past his awesome power that could potentially finish Brock if he catches him.

never said Carwin was technical, but either is brock on the feet. It is not like Brock is some great counter striker. If and when he gets into exchanges with Carwin he will get tagged.

Well, i think Carwin and Brock are both the shits in the standup but i think if Carwin lands a good one it's goodnight, i have not got that from Brock.

Yeah and now he has that new shaved head(razor endorsement) so his head movement will be that much better.

Didn't he have Mir against the fence in like 20 seconds? not sure how much you could see in terms of head movement in that fight
