| Fedor in the meantime will have beaten Werdum most likely
It's very hard to argue against Fedor's resume, but Brock beating Randy, then Mir, then Carwin and then Cain would make it arguable.

| Let me guess, you got Cain doing it? or Carwin?
Both guys have a shot that's for sure, I'd give Carwin a slightly better chance because of strength, but Cain is the most talented of any of them.

| if Fedor beats say Werdum, and the winner of Rogers/Overeem or Barnett then he maintains his number 1 status. | |

The board always has its up and down moments as far as posting goes...some weeks seem like people are posting every minute and weeks like this week are really slow..dunno why that is though. To follow up with the OT... No he wouldnt be above Fedor because that would only be 6 wins in his career.

| One could argue and not get too much shit from me other than "i disagree, here's why but i respect your opinion"...but i say as long as Fedor's active and winning against top 10 fighters, coupled with the fact that his rap sheet is already gawdy, i really think you have to beat the guy to get his spot...atleast thats how my rankings work. Fedor would really have to go off the deepend in competition for me to move him out of #1 without losing. I always have the to be the man you got to beat the man mentality when im ranking them and im particularly stiff with that within the top 5.
I would view Brocks wins as more impressive obviously but still against guys benath him in the rankings not the one guy above him while i would take into account that Fedor's wins were good wins as well and of course the 10-11 consecutive years of dominance without a slip up should always factor into the rankings.

| If Fedor beats any two of Overeem/Rogers winner, Werdum, Arlovski/Silva winner and Josh Barnett. | |

| I am afraid I would probably have to nudge Brock up over Fedor if he did that LA. Though I wouldn't like it very much, because Brock is such an asshole, but that wouldn't be very objective to hold him down just because of that. | |

| If that scenario plays out , it creates a strong argument for Brock being #1. |

This. I would be very impressed with Brock if he did beat Carwin and Cain but that wouldn't put him above Fedor imo.

Until he comes to the UFC there isnt any1 capable of beating him in my opion. I would put Brock ahead just because he is fighting the best competition and beating them. Fedor needs to come to the UFC and Im starting to think he needs the UFC more than they need him at this point.

| I think it would be too close to call. On the one hand, Brock would have the edge with more impressive wins than Fedor. On the other hand Fedor is virtually undefeated where Brock suffered a loss due to lack of experience. | |

| If Brock can push his record to 6-1 then I would defiantly rank him number 2 HW. | |

| If brock runs the gamut in impressive fashion I'd say he's #1. I'm also pretty tempted to give the top p4p spot to silva. the resume from a different era can only carry you so long. | |

| I already think Anderson is arguable at #1 P4P, any order of Fedro, Anderson and GSP in the top 3 is fine at the moment. | |

Limited fights or not, he'd be beating top guys one after the other, Randy was def top 10 when Brock beat him (was he top 5?) then that be 4 top 5 HWs in a row.
