but the ref separates them though and they stand for about 30 more seconds.

Shane fighting like that is one uppercut away from a KO! He ducks his chin everytime he throws with someone.

There is some slight head movement from Carwin but it's still pretty poor, someone like Cain could exploit that.

I thought Carwin's head movement would be a deciding factor in him getting beat by Mir. Then Mir got put on the fence and raped

Mir never got the chance to use his striking, he allowed himself to get trapped on the cage.

Mir's barely had the chance to showcase his striking in his career, wonder why????

I'll go with the Mir Formula. Clinch work, work the leg's, explode up top, KO sometime within the 1st 3 rds.

Randy had some nice work out of the clinch vs Brock.

Mir has had some of the worst striking of all UFC HW champions until recently in his career. Of all fighters I have seen "reinvent" themselves Mir has probably made one of the most dramatic transformations. He is so much better now than when he was originally champion. Even with that, he still is overrated.

Randy had some nice work out of the clinch vs Brock.

But Randy has helped Brock train for this fight and Brock said Randy taught him some things in the clinch.
