most all new music is a repeat of the past so its hard to say the new generation is better than the old. IMO the older the more respect I have for it and its also that much more of a classic.

My favorite decade of music is by far the 60's. Kinks, Beatles, Dylan are probably my favorite 3 artists of all time. If this argument was 3 years ago I would have been with the majority and said that modern music sucks but now I have opened my ears to listen to things other than the mainstream bubblegum bull crap that is on the radio today. A lot of you are set in your ways so you won't give it a chance, which is a shame because some of you probably could get into some of our music.

I don't listen to the radio and I tried to give alot of the critically acclaimed bands a chance but none of them appealed to me nor did they seem classical.

The internet has done wonders for music but it hasn't meant alot of great bands have been discovered. " Quality not quantity."

what bands have you given a chance to.

I really tried to give The Strokes and The Libertines a chance but I didn't see what all the fuss was about.

They really only had 1 good album imo. The rest was over hyped garbage but Is This It was a fantastic album. The following are their two best songs. And I'm not really into the Libertines.

I haven't listened to the radio for like 8 years now, I still think this decade pretty much sucks when it comes to new acts
