| The good news ; two UFC veterans in Lance Gibson and Bill Mahood will be judges, in addition to another former fighter.
Bad news ; Sal D'Amato is still judging fights for the UFC. At least he won't have any titles to rob this time. However, he may ruin another career or spoil another all time great barn burner.
L.C. Davis 30-27 over Javier Vazquez (8/9/2009) Takeya Mizugaki 29-28 over Jeff Curran (8/9/2009) Carlos Condit 29-28 over Jake Ellenberger (9/16/2009) Randy Couture 29-28 over Brandon Vera (11/14/2009) Justin Wren 29-28 over Jon Madsen (12/5/2009) Aaron Simpson 29-28 over Tom Lawlor (1/11/2010) Frankie Edgar 48-47 over B.J. Penn (4/12/2010) Rick Story 29-28 over Nick Osipczak (4/12/2010)
The bolded fights are ones that stick out to me from memory as bad decisions. The Couture fight I scored for Randy initially, but have had a hard time sticking to that decision. Vera won that fight in retrospect. Curren was robbed blind in a fight that cost him his WEC and likely his entire MMA career. Mizugaki is fighting Faber, Curran is scratching a living out of small shows. BJ Penn vs Edgar is well known. Condit absolutely did not win that fight against Jake either. The other fights I don't remember.

| wow you thought Mizugaki won that fight? Didn't Curran have him on his back most of the fight? I just remember Curran, when he needed a win the most, being jobbed bad.
Doc Hamilton is also judging the card.
Matt Hughes 29-28 over Renato Verissimo (6/19/2004) Tito Ortiz 29-28 over Vitor Belfort (2/5/2005) Georges St. Pierre 29-28 over B.J. Penn (3/4/2006) Stephan Bonnar 29-28 over Keith Jardine (4/6/2006) Mike Swick 29-29 draw with Josh Burkman (1/23/2008) Clay Guida 29-28 over Nate Diaz (1/31/2009) Heath Herring 29-28 over Cheick Kongo (3/1/2008) Antonio Banuelos 29-28 over Scott Jorgensen (6/7/2009) Gleison Tibau 29-28 over Melvin Guillard (6/20/2009) Lyoto Machida 48-47 over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (10/24/2009) Leonard Garcia 29-28 over Chan Sung Jung (4/24/2010)
Some of those were close but I agree with, but some of these recent fights are bad, bad...

If I remember right .. jake rocked him twice in the first round hard .. so you might be able to argue a 10-8 first round.. but that gives a draw at best.. Condit recovered which was crazy, he should have went out in his first round.. and Jake gassed, he took that fight in like a 1-2 week notice.. that fight was the shit and it also made me a fan of Ellenberger for sure.. Condit beat Kampmann too.

| Change that pick bro, Rory is good but hasn't beaten anyone that makes me think he;ll beat Condit, if Carlos can't win that then my WEC theory will be valid. | |

This post makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I dunno if you are disagreeing or agreeing with me but still: there is others that agree with me.. Kampmann "might" have won the second round (by control) but condit did way more damage on the bottom.. Kampmann was just holding on and eating shots and had no good GnP, and Carlos had like 3 sub attempts off his back too.. He was doing way more work to try and actually finish the fight plus doing more damage.. And i would have given the first and third round to condit anyway.. *All of these condit fights are going by memory.. I havnt seen them since they were live. Which the Kampmann one we were still over at ESPN

| One thing is clear, Condit was heavily overrated in the WEC. Sorry Golbez. | |

I wouldn't disagree with that..So maybe everyone LW and up in the WEC was slightly overrated, I am okay with that.. Condit is 25/26 or something.. he still has the skillset and the potential to rise up to that.. I like Condit because every time he fights the fight ends up being badass and exciting .. Condit vs Ellenberger fight was awesome... I still feel he hasn't lost in 4 years and is 2-0 in the UFC .. Now he is taking another dangerous fight for him, because Rory is good but Condit will have a lot more to lose here than to win again. This fight should be good.

I don't think this fight is even debatable. Heath Herring 29-28 over Cheick Kongo (3/1/2008)- I agree. I also don't think this fight is even debatable Antonio Banuelos 29-28 over Scott Jorgensen (6/7/2009) - Bullshit Gleison Tibau 29-28 over Melvin Guillard (6/20/2009) - I agree. Two bad the other two judges didn't see the light and decided instead rob Gleison. Lyoto Machida 48-47 over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (10/24/2009)- Bullshit Leonard Garcia 29-28 over Chan Sung Jung (4/24/2010) - The worst fucking robbery in recent memory.
