Which former contender deserves another crack FIRST?

Who deserves to get another title shot first? Not listing any former Champs like Mir, Serra, Hughes. Just contenders that lost.

I would have to say Fitch, even though im sure the outcome would be no different at all

correct me if im wrong but hasnt he won 6 fights since losing to GSP?.. maybe he wont beat GSP but comeone what are you fighting for! the title and Dana is jus taking that away from Fitch

No he has won 4 since losing to GSP. His biggest draw back is all 4 fights went the distance...didn't finish a single guy.

I think all DW sees is the ass beating he took the first time, so I can see why Dana is reluctant.

that is how I feel, but I don't get the impression that others on here feel the same way. Just curious to what others thought.

I'd say Koscheck because while he hasn't been as successful since losing to GSP, he has fantastic wrestling that could possibly counter GSP (no one else in the division has a chance besides him for that). As Kenny Florian might say "he finishes fights" Only going the distance with Thiago Alves(which is a hell of an accomplishment) and Chris Lytle. Plus he is one of the few people who showed the skills on the ground to counter GSP laying on them.

Kos hasn't had a title shot yet in his career. If he beats Daley it should be him. I would think the same was supposed to be true for Fitch if he beat Alves again but he didn't. Kos is 12-4 in the UFC, not as good as Fitch who is 12-1 in the UFC, but still worthy of his first title shot if he can win his next fight.

ha ha wow, just slipped my mind that GSP vs Kos wasn't a title fight. Oh well.

hey im not gonna argue against Fitch getting another shot, but i do think Kos puts up a better fight.

Yeah I can agree with that. I think Kos puts up a better fight but Fitch deserves the shot IMO.

I went none. at least not any time soon.

For some reason it slipped my mind that GSP vs Kos was a non title fight. But he still looking for a rematch non the less and another crack at GSP so I think it still works out OK with him as an option.

I agree! I think we could argue the point that although fitch hasnt lost since GSP he hasnt gotten better either.

Not to mention that he also beat Thiago Alves, even though it was a while ago.

All Dana see's with Fitch is an unmarketable guy who got his assbeat by GSP the first time and has since actually made people think he has even less of a chance than we may have thought immediately after the first fight, to win a rematch.

Fitch has to beat a top five WW like Kos or Alves before I'd even want to consider him getting a title shot.

I just wish someone would knock him completely unconcsious and end this madness.
