Absolutely nuts. This us the reason he won 6 awards and finished runner up the JFF when in reality he's a 2nd team all SEC type. The media ran with this story without checking facts. Now they all look like doped and you can't take his awards away because its supposed to be based on results not the sap story every one bought.

No one would have even known about him is ESPN didn't shove him in our face every few minutes. He wasn't even the best player on his own defense let alone anything near the best player in the country.

He was already the most known player on the team and Notre Dame went undefeated. That had much more to do with it than thinking he received awards because people thought his girlfriend died. There's no argument there. He had an amazing season too

Yes he absolutely did have an amazing season. Notre Dame's defense was dominant and not on the field anywhere near as much as I'm sure the majority of the people who ranked ahead of him in tackles. You can't compare stats like that of college defensive players, its not like the NFL

I agree somewhat if we are argueing him ranking 15th and some guy ranked 13th who on a shitty team and gets tackles from having so many plays, but he's 57th. He can't rush. He doesn't play downhill. He's a glorified S who can't lay the wood.

He's def coming off as a fraud here, and thus u have to question his mental state. Weirdo territory.

He still had a big year for a real good squad.
