Trying to score free tickets to this. I don't think it is as good of main or under card card as the last FOX show, but would be fun either way.

That is a solid card. Only thing that might keep it from being greatly appealing is the lack of title contenders/champions. Lombard may be a contender if he beats stan but nothing is for certain. Could be fireworks. Lets just hope Machida and Prado can make Davis and Bader fight.

August's UFC on FOX 4 event needs a new headliner.

Middleweight Brian Stann (12-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC) is out of his scheduled five-round middleweight headliner with promotional newcomer Hector Lombard (31-2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) due to an injury.

A source close to the event today confirmed the scratch with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com), though the UFC has made no official announcement.

UFC on FOX 4 takes place Aug. 4 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The event's main card airs live on FOX while prelims go to FUEL TV and Facebook.

It was not immediately clear if Lombard, the reigning Bellator middleweight champion and a recent UFC import, will remain on the card and in the night's network-televised main event.

Stann recently picked up his fourth win in five fights with a first-round knockout via ground and pound of Alessio Sakara at UFC on FUEL TV 2. Prior to the victory, the former WEC light-heavyweight champion snapped a three-fight win streak (over Mike Massenzio, Chris Leben and Jorge Santiago) and potentially cost himself a title shot with a second-round submission loss to upcoming title challenger Chael Sonnen. A win over Lombard could have gotten him right back into title contention.

Belfort is hurt, out for the next four weeks which would then give him a 4 week camp if they put him in there.

Maia or Okami? Maia fighting at WW in July and Okami fighting Cane August 11th, but should either seriously be considered for this fight.

I could see Bisping or Munoz being pulled from their fights, but that leaves a big hole on one of the August shows. But if one was, Ronny Marks could replace one of them, he is at least on a 6 fight (2 UFC) win streak.

Doubt they will want either Bisping or Lombard fighting eachother, since it seems like they are both being set up for a title shot. I wouldnt be suprised to see Belfort take the fight with a 4 week camp.

Hopefully Belfort makes a quick recovery.
