| Would you watch? Say Stann defeats Santiago and Kennedy beats someone like Robbie Lawler, you could make a case for either being top ten. Since theyre both decent human beings you wouldn't look for the normal antics but both guys are smart and articulate. I know with the marines vs army and ufc vs strikeforce angles the show would find an audience. Maybe every fighter could be someone with a military background. Coaches challenges would be a lot of fun. Have the finale be a Fight For the Troops. | |

| I was thinking about this matchup the other day, not for tuf though. If it was them as coaches I would watch, but not because of them, just because I would probably dvr and watch it no matter who was coaching. the coaches don't necessarily make the show. Would probably be mild on the filming coaches side, but you never know, they could be more interesting then we know. None of those ideas are bad. | |

| Stann is very tv friendly. Kennedy has a quick sense of humor. They could make it work. | |

| P.R. wise I think this a great idea for Zuffa. I don't see any TUF show flopping because it is a very popular show now. I think the Marines vs Army and UFC vs SF angle is cool also. I'm not sure about getting teams made up of just military guys. I am not sure the talent would be as good as usual. I would rather see Mayhem vs Bisping on TUF, but I would watch this in a flash.
Talk to Drew and see if he will mention it to Joe Silva.

| Youre worried about the talent declining? Tuf has been extra hideous lately. | |

| The talent on TUF has been awful lately. Regardless of coaches, this show is tapped out and the ratings are starting to show it, so I'd have no problem with something like this. In reality, they need some kind of new angle to freshen this up | |

| I'd watch, but I'd rather see Bisping-Sonnen (if things can get worked out), Cruz-Faber (little too late), Shad-Jones (if Jones defends his belt before), Diaz-GSP (if they're already booked for freakin Dec), and maybe even winner of Guida/Showtime-Miller (since they'll be waiting for their shot). | |

That's very true, but if you take a cast and say they have to be in the military or former military I think the talent takes a step down even more. The military produces tough guys, but this is MMA and not just basic training. TUF goes after up and coming talent like Diego Sanchez, Forrest Griffin, etc. Normally most of the fighters/cast have fought in legit promotions like Cage Rage. The talent level is down when you compare guys like Bruce Leeroy to Diego, but it could be worse. I don't think there are enough high level fighters with military backgrounds to fill a cast and compete at the next level. So suck it wolf and bobbitt!

| You know you named two guys from the first season six years ago right? Tuf routinely passes on that kind of prospect for several reasons. | |

| Reward Stann and Kennedy for bring great ambassadors for the sport, not the two biggest scumbags in the sport. | |

I can agree with that, but we all know that isn't how the game is played.

I can agree with that, but we all know that isn't how the game is played. Yes and no. Spike wants condoms filled with rotten mayo, but if the Ufc ditches Spike for the new NBC sports channel (formerly VS.) an angle like this would be better. You understand the UFC loves to cater go the armed forces as well.

Yes I do know that wolf. That's why I mentioned that talent had declined from when the show began. It was kind of an agreement with what you had said about talent declining on the show. That's why I mentioned Forrest and Diego, and threw out Leeroy since he was on last season. I'm not sure if you know, but I kinda agree with you for the most part about this situation. I am just wondering if the talent would stoop even lower if it was troops vs troops is all. Ya savvy?

| JUst depends on the individuals still. Sometimes it's what is in the head or heart that is lacking and not just the talent with some guys. Those dudes with more heart than skill put on some of the better fights on the show each season. | |

It can't stoop a whole lot lower than amateur kickboxing and clinching up against the cage for 2 rounds

| The people who watch TUF will watch regardless of who the coaches are. They're pulling in shitty ratings this season with Brock on there | |

| That's in the states. We don't know how the ratings around the world are. Neither Stann nor Kennedy have worldwide appeal. |

Do you actually think the rest of the world would want to see this? TUF is for American audiences and is produced by Spike. I imagine that the UFC doesn't sit around pondering what idiotic Australians who dont know dick think. Besides, Aussies other wise buy any and all UFC branded content. Jon Fitch sold out in minutes.
