Might help him drop a weight class. Those limbs can be heavy.

While a submission is unlikely, Belcher does have three legit sub wins in the UFC not counting taps due to punches. Weirder things have happened, and fighters need to be confident. Belcher has strong legs. That may be a factor in avoiding the heel hook.

I hope Belcher pulls it off. If I had to bet I'd take Palhares.

The only way Belcher is subbing him is if he rocks him badly then sinks in a choke. While technically its a sub or getting choked out but really the finish is from the strike.

I am really hoping Phil Harris gets his ass kicked.
