I may have misspoke. Totally different characters with different qualities. Badass in their own ways. But I do love the Bourne series. Not ashamed to admit that.

The Bourne series was good but the Die Hard series is even better.

I personally didn't like Die Hard 1 anymore then Bourne Identity. Different movies, but I probably lean Bourne.

I watched Akira last night for probably the first time in over 18 years. Good japanistanimation syfy flick. It's weird seeing something again after such a long time, the critique changes so much.

That movie looks absurd.
Also, last time Morgan Freeman was president, we got hit by a comet.

I started downloading Looper on my xbox before I went into work. I plan on watching tonight or when I wake up tomorrow(3 day weekend). I'll probably watch Casino sometime this weekend as well.
Should I watch any more Die Hard movies? Should I put any of them ahead of Mission Impossible? Haven't seen MI but I got it on blu ray.

Die Hard > MI. Not close. And don't go overboard with sequels. Catch the originals if classics.

I watched Die Hard 1 already. So the question is MI 1 or Die Hard 2?

Dredd - Not bad. For the budget they had it's pretty good but I do kinda feel like it was a missed opportunity. Karl Urban was fantastic as Judge Dredd. Too much use of the slow motion feature though. Pity there won't likely be a sequel because it's definitely a movie they could have built off of onto better things as Dredd's world is rich with material to plunder. 3.5/5

I thought about checking that out. Looked like a decent action flick. Got decent reviews from Rotten Tomatoes I think.

Django Unchained - Outstanding !!! My only criticism would be the use of modern music in period pieces but that's more of a personal preference and me nit picking. I laughed during this movie more than I have at some comedies, there's a scene involving the clan that's just hilarious. All the performances were terrific and I am quite astonished that DiCaprio was snubbed by the academy, Sam Jackson probably gave his best performance in quite some time too. I bet Will Smith is kicking himself for turning this down but frankly Jamie suits the role better. 5/5
Oh and fuck Spike Lee !!! he's an overrated imbecile.

I watched Shawshank Redemption for the first time over the weekend. Great movie, I had no idea what it was about before I started watching.
Also saw Looper. I thought it was very good but the only thing that put me off a little was the TK stuff. Just didn't expect it to be part of the movie.
