Franklin has said 205 is where he wants to stay multiple times and you should ranked the performances based on who they against not so much where they happened. Anderson, Wand, Vitor, and Henderson all fight/fought at 185 & 205.

| Jake's got something Maia doesn't - real wrestling power.
If Chael Sonnen kept elbows on Nate's skull for three rounds Jake could do it too possibly.
Jake isn't just top of 170 food chain. He is an an elite MW.
However, if Dan doesn't gas out early we might all be singing a significantly different tune.

| He actually might be top 5 P4P. I really think Sheilds has the best chance of beating Anderson at 185 aswell. | |

I have him at 6. but I think spider ko's him. silva would not let that weak of a striking game survive.

That is very disputable. I think past the first round, Sheilds was outstriking Hendo. He was using a good jab. Outside Dan Miller(who has dreadful striking himself) Maia has never outstuck anyone his entire career.

| Shields is great and all, but he is still a big version of Aoki. There are numerous WW's Aoki would have sub'd last night contracted to Zuffa right now.
The Nate Marquardt Chael Sonnen fight coupled with knee jerk reaction to Dan Henderson fighting like a 40 year old maybe making us, myself included, go a little too far with what Sheilds can do.
Block a few takedowns from Sheilds and you've won the fight. All it will take is someone to do what Melendez did to Aoki for this forum to completely turn on Sheilds.

I mean we all thought that was a bad matchup for shields for that reason no? and the time 4 under valuing shields is past, he has too many names on his resume, multiple weight classes, the whole bit. he has to be given his due.

| I think Hendo might be a lil downhill from what we thought before. Bisping sucks now and we know that wasn't a top MW fight. I think Maia taps Jake, but Wolf is right about the wrestling ability would help Jake out. I would go with Maia in that fight. | |

| Jake and Maia would be an interesting fight, prob 50/50, it should be noted that Maia picked up Sonnen and tossed him almost immediately in their fight.
And did Wolfy say Aoki would beat a lot of WWs in the UFC? Who the nobodies? It's over Aoki gets his ass beaten like a rented mule by most the the UFC LWs and the WWs? please
Also Sheilds would be a tough fight for Nate

A. Hendo did that for the first round. He nearly decapitated Jake twice. B. Wanderlei Silva and Carlos Newton have out wrestled Dan before. Newton weighed around 170 at UFC 17 when Dan was in his youth and active in wrestling and Newton slammed the living shit out of him twice. Dan Henderson for his whole career has been notorious for having the worst MMA wrestling of any of the elite pedigree'd wrestlers, for debatable reasons.

| You probably average out to a good poster.
You're either so wrong it is mind boggling how a human could intake data and process it to the weirdo opinions you have, or you're one of the few who come down on the right side of an issue where the consensus is wrong itself, like BJ.

i've never had gegard on a p4p. I've been saying he's been riding the hype train. I picked him to lose. Though now, I think the pendulum has swung the other way, and he's being underated.
