Why is mocking dudes like Saku and Aoki necessary for hyping this fight?
So Okami is a sell himself type fighter?
He said Saku and Aoki suck dick? Or simply Okami in his opinion is the best fighter from Japan?
Dana said Okami did not pad his record fighting bums like other Japanese fighters did. Which yes is taking a swipe at Saku, Aoki and all the other Japanese fighters, but it is also inaccurate for multiple reasons. First being that Okami also built up his record on small shows, and even in the UFC he has fought a bunch of no names and second, Saku fought WAY better comp then Okami. Way better.
So in spewing bs he took shots at numerous japanese fighters including a true legend.
Find another way to hype the fight. The board seems to think it would have been fine if he said "Okami is one of the best fighters to come out of Japan, and with a win, he could be the best ever" He mentioned ZERO names bro, just said padded. Glad you guys don't sell fights, never be where we are today. Lol, so true. We have people on here who want the sport to expand into network TV and become huge and then spend so much time bitching about fights being hyped and sold to the general public, just because as die hard fans they can see holes in it

I think quite a few fighters could have had success against a Rampage who's only form of offense was trying to powerbomb someone 5 times in the first couple minutes of a fight lol

Dana can bash any fighter through history as long as it is for the good of the upcoming PPV? He can make up any lie he wants and I can give a single LOL? Cause that means I don't understand the business side of MMA right?

| That was like a 21 year old Page, granted Saku has a more impressive resume in general, but a seasoned Okami vs a 21 year old Page, it's possible, though not likely. | |

| So when Gus Johnson said the Petruzzelli KO of Kimbo was the greatest upset in MMA history(or whatever he said) u guys were silent on that?
Dudes still hate Kimbo, the guy who has brought the greatest viewing audience to US MMA, and for nothing that he did. just because of the way he was hyped up by others.

What bothers the majority of logical MMA fans is the doucheness of associating that very narrow field of fighters to being nothing more than can beaters with built-up, mythological records.

| Jackson was 23, 10-1 with a variety of sub and KO wins on his record. Saku was his only defeat until Wand 3 years later in a string tat saw him pummel all kind of comp Okami would be favored to lose against.

I need to guzzle his balls right now to make up for the terrible things I have said. I will never point out any flaws in Dana's logic because there aren't any. I'm sorry but since when did calling bullshit bullshit become unacceptable?

War Sakuraba. Against a bunch of nobodies, then he came in and got his biggest payday ever, I believe he's even hinted before that he was told to put on a show, and tried to just repeatedly pick Sakuraba up and powerbomb him.
