Why is mocking dudes like Saku and Aoki necessary for hyping this fight? Talking about how many cans Aoki fights while trying to make the argument that Okami is the best Japanese fighter in the world makes sense to me. I can safely say that Okami's UFC success would be much, much, greater than Aoki's too who would get blasted by a shitload of guys at 155 currently on the UFC's roster

Some just don't get it I guess, Okami doesn't sell himself, someone has to, they'll spin some shit nicely on Fox I bet, which they should. Oh I get what they are attempting. Doesn't make it any less lame.

And Okami would probably beat Saku being real about it. Well then you can have the debate, are we talking who has done the most as of today? or who was the most skilled fighter at their peak?
It's the context which some take it in though, annoying. Oh no Dana said what??? Interesting, I find whatever BS Dana decided to spew that day to be annoying. I also don't have a problem expressing that. We know, it's becoming.....well Ill leave it, but chill, MMA is where it is today for a reason, fighters only sell the sport so much, even though it shouldn't have to be that way.

So Okami is a sell himself type fighter?
He said Saku and Aoki suck dick? Or simply Okami in his opinion is the best fighter from Japan? Dana said Okami did not pad his record fighting bums like other Japanese fighters did. Which yes is taking a swipe at Saku, Aoki and all the other Japanese fighters, but it is also inaccurate for multiple reasons. First being that Okami also built up his record on small shows, and even in the UFC he has fought a bunch of no names and second, Saku fought WAY better comp then Okami. Way better. So in spewing bs he took shots at numerous japanese fighters including a true legend. Find another way to hype the fight. The board seems to think it would have been fine if he said "Okami is one of the best fighters to come out of Japan, and with a win, he could be the best ever"

Come on now, Dana can just say that and everyone has to smile and nod because it is all to hype a fight? We all know better, why can't we call him on the BS he is trying to sell? I understand WHY he says the crazy shit but that doesn't mean we can't comment on how crazy the shit he is saying really is.

Find another way to hype the fight. The board seems to think it would have been fine if he said "Okami is one of the best fighters to come out of Japan, and with a win, he could be the best ever" Did he even bring up specific fighters or was he just talking about the entire Japanese MMA landscape? Look at how many of them have come to the UFC from over there and done absolutely nothing. Dude makes a general comment about Okami being the best fighter out of Japan without even bringing up names and everyone has to go in depth on how he's jerking off on the corpse of Sakuraba.

Aoki's resume is every bit as good as Oaki's right now. The WEC had 3 fighters that people expect to do well in the UFC and they are all legit. I don't think that many people argued against that, its after those 3 dudes where you have a bunch of guys who are never going to make waves I like Aoki, but I don't think he would dick in the UFC. Too many wrestlers that could just keep from going down and would light him up. Gil played with him like a little kid
