Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays. They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive. All the ones with are way underpaid. Yes I said the Bantamweights are underpaid! |

He was probably on $500,000 and took a $50,000 pay cut. |

| Tito used to make more I thought. I like how his contract is guaranteed with no win bonus. | |

| Didn't watch it live. Only seen the Leben and Condit fights to date.
Regarding Leben vs Wandy.
I didn't pick the fight b4 hand, and though I was excited to see it, I didn't really try to break it down.
But I hope I would have factored in the current day chins of the respective fighters. If u have 2 guys going in swinging, role with the more sturdy chin. I think that is a pretty good idea, and at this stage of the game Leben has the better whiskers.
Not sure why Kings was so taken aback. Wandy is now 2-6 in his last 8, and has been KO'd in 4 of those. Is Leben a step down from the roll call of legends who have most recently beaten Wandy? Sure, but it has been pretty clear that this is not Wandy circa 2004.
Though I am cool with Wandy giving it another go if he wants to.
Loving Condit right now. 27 wins, 26 finishes? that's awesome. and like Kings im glad we did not see a top control Kim victory. I'd be cool with Carlos getting a title shot right now. If Hardy was allowed a go at it, why not Condit? Would love to see Carlos vs either of the Diaz bros.
As per Cruz.
though I have not seen the fight yet, I do have to give Cruz some props. I was reluctant for awhile, but the guy keeps rolling along.
Is he top 10 p4p? I still see it as debateable. I for one don't see BW as a fully established division. Most stacked in MMA? based on what? And Cruz, though very successful has certainly not been dominant here.
But prior to this win, I didn't really want to entertain the idea of Cruz as a top 10 p4p guy, but now it is very legit argument.
