So pick Frankie Edgar against Cain Velasquez if speed is everything. Size is far, far more important.

That is definitely not the argument I'm trying to make. More that when you change your body it effects your game. Failing to acknowledge the differences in both the division and the fighter is just being ignorant.

I have Shields beating Okami. He was able to control the much bigger Henderson for 4 rounds so I don't think Okami would pose a bigger problem.

Again, if GSP was only marginally better than other WWs. He isn't. He is an Astronomical Unit in front of the next closest challenger. Alves is a huge WW and GSP tossed his salad. Fitch can wrestle fuck anyone and GSP ragdolled him. Hughes could barely get Penn down in three fights and GSP took him down at will. Yushin Okami, Chael Sonnen, Mayhem Miller - these aint p4p murderers. MW isn't an amazing division talent wise. Part of why Silva has been so dominant. Even if Yushin was GSP's toughest fight ever he'd likely still win because GSP doesn't just win - he completely owns - his opponents. Only Chael and Silva worry me.
