| They probably had Maximum Profits in mind when they made it. Randy's draw power still had to be better than any UFC HW or CroCop or Nogs at the time. They probably came to him with it because of that. I don't know. Could of been a combination of both though. UFC see's the $$$, Randy sees the $, glory and pride that would come with returning to beat Brock on the big stage. Probably wasn't a tough sell at all.
Actually it was Randy's idea. He was in the middle of a legal dispute with the UFC at the time and actually agreed to settle if he could defend his title against Lesnar.
