Is GSP's weight gain legit?

I say yeah he has been working overtime his whole career and no one comes close to how much he bust his ass to gain that weight the right way. Mir puts on 30 lbs in a few months and no big deal but gsp puts on 10 lbs in a year and a half and now he is on roids. GTFO

The only person that brought this up is Kos, so in my opinion you're overreacting to this. I have no reason to believe GSP is roiding, coming from some1 who hates GSP...

Gsp's work ethic is second to none. Fuck if anyone of us worked half as hard as him we would be a fucking monster. I am no gsp fan at all but who do you all think is on his level when it comes to training?

penn has said it as well not to mention kos and penn say they hear other fighters talk about it as well. so just sayin

BJ just put out a video on his site saying that he never called Kos telling him about GSP and steroids... I am not questioning his work ethic or anything like that, im simply saying that this is an overreaction to Kos'es "mind games"

i have no idea to be honest. Anyone can be taking it these days, im just not gonna assume anything until there is evidence, or if it's completely obvious like with Overeem.

He's a high level athlete. They don't need roids to put on more muscle, they just need to do more weights.

It's an odd soup too. Roids aren't always used to get bigger either, you can become stronger taking them without gaining a single pound. Track athletes and bicyclists don't always get huge.

Well then you can never really speculate because steroids arent always used to get bigger. If there is no evidence or any real reason to be suspicious of GSP or any athlete for that matter, you just keep your "suspicions" to yourself.

well some of that is genetics other is the compound they are taking. Most test esters allow rapid repair, which leads to positive nitrogen balance which leads to muscle gain.

winstrol for instance is anticatabolic but has great hardening effects. One can often burn more fat harden up and get stronger on winstrol without gaining much or any bodyweight. One problem though its hell on the ole liver.

Even though I can't stand GSP I'm not gonna say he's roiding because he takes and passes the same drug test as everyone else. But I see nothing wrong with people asking these kinds of questions about him his corner has been caught cheating before so you got to expect this kind of talk.

What motive would GSP have for getting huge on roids? Why would he take the risk? He's already the best WW of all time.

Why doesn't anyone ask this question of Mur weight gain? He has both the motive to get bigger plus the striking change in his body.

Stating that there may be roids involved is crazy. Liev Schreiber, who played Sabertooth in the Wolverine movie worked out for 9 months to gain 35 pounds of muscle. Between workouts and protien, which he described as the "genocide of chickens". So it is possible to do it slow and methodical or even fast and bulky. It depends on what you want to do.
