I agree he shouldn't have been asked. Though when the challenger pulls out of a title fight ten days prior to the event sometimes there aren't alot of options, especially in a division Jones has fought the majority of top contenders in, with the next in line having just fought last month. I feel like Jackson and Jones have fucked us over here. Nobody really WANTS to see Chael fight Jones but who flat out refuses to defend the title? Now 14-18 other guys just spent money on training camps for nothing and will have to continue spending the money on an extended camp assuming those fights get moved to other cards being held in the coming weeks.

On short notice I see Chael as a great option. Jones needs a PR guy in the worst way.
