I got a feeling that Overeem is going to either kick his ass or lose in humiliating fashion. Regardless, that is the fight everyone wants to see.

Yeah I don't like retirement talk before a fight but like Fedor said himself he was talking about retiring long before the loss. All that said I think Fedor is the last fighter in the world we would need to worry is not focused.

no concerns, he will show up the same on fight day no matter what, he is a true professional. Plenty of fighters have talked about having thoughts of retirement around that age. Anderson Silva has said the same thing.

I really think retiring starts to creep into fighters minds when they lose but he isnt going to retire right now. He still has alot left unless he gets KOed by Silva in the 1st round I think he will fight for a while longer.

THIS! Fedor has said many times over the past two years that he was thinking about retirement. He may think about it some times, but I would say that is more of a tactic to get money for his next contract imo. His lips are loaded for questions like the one Ariel asked him. I would imagine Vadim had talked with Fedor about this before and told him how to answer it.
