The UFC Heavyweight Title still hasn't been defended 3 times in a row

Brock wasn't the Undisputed HW champion in most of his "defenses" anyway.

He had THE title and the UFC recognizes him as defending it twice.

If Cain gets by JDS he is going to have a great shot at doing it. JDS is his most difficult fight in the UFC right now.

Carwin would be harder. He hits the hardest and has good wrestling which JDS doesn't.

Hit harder I agree, but JDS has better striking, has a better chance of landing meaningful shots.. Last night should serve some lesson, size is a great asset but the skill behind it is crucial. I like JDS right now, his ability to stay off the mat will be important.

Thats a crazy stat that no 1 has defended the title 3 times. There have been some very good fighters to have held the title.

The UFC HW division only last night got a fighter who could make a real legitimate claim of being the best HW in the world. Up until now the UFC HW championship has been held by also-rans or paper tigers. Lesnar probably isn't even top 6 and probably never has been. Couture, better than Sylvia sure but was he really better than Barnett, Nog, Fedor, and a host of names at the time? We saw what happened to UFC "champions" like AA when faced against Fedor, or even the best names in Strikeforce.

Blah, blah, blah. Look this makes the HW division even better and more intriguing. Sure it appears that SF has a comparable HW division, but it doesn't. Does anyone honestly think Fedor, Brock or anyone else can get by Cain right now? If you do? Your stupid...and I took Brock and believe that.

So your saying Cain is unbeatable?

I guess I didn't realize that. That's a great thing though I think, so many other weightclasses get recognized as being great and HW has gotten overlooked in the past. I think it's good for the sport.

No one is unbeatable, but I'd take Cain over anyone in the World right now.

Not so sure about this 1.

I don't give Cain a great chance of achieving that record, Dos Santos is a very dangerous opponent and after that Carwin will be back, those are two heavy handed opponents who could clip Cain's vulnerable chin.

If Cain beats Werdum he will be the first to ever do it.

I've watched 2 cards in the last 2 years, neither fighter fought on those cards, but I'd still lay heavy $$$ on Cain. And I don't ever bet.
