| I'll be hosting a 16 man tournament to determine the Greatest Ever Light-Heavyweight Fighter by this board. For each round i'll be starting a new topic so please just vote for who you think will win the fights for that round and not for the whole tournament. Whoever wins their fight in each round progresses to the next round and I will pick the fights for each round.
The basis of the tournament is if each fighter was fighting at their peak for that fight, not who had the better career.
Thanks for voting in Round 1, the Elite 8 and the Final 4 guys. Time for the Title Fight.
Title Fight-
Mauricio Rua vs Quinton Jackson
Mauricio Rua- 19-4 In this tournament beat- Forrest Griifin, Frank Shamrock and Chuck Liddell
Quinton Jackson- 30-7 In this tournament beat- Rashard Evans, Randy Couture and Vitor Belfort
I know these guys fought before in Pride but this fight would be in the UFC and Jackson didn't hit his peak until he was in the UFC. Will Shogun beat him again or would it be much closer? You decide who this board thinks is the "Greatest Ever Light-Heavyweight Fighter". |

| I think the fight would be very close but after watching Shogun destroy Machida I would have to pick him at least till I see Rampage vs Rashad. My winner is SHOGUN!! | |

| Mauricio Rua vs Quinton Jackson
Rua is also just reaching his peak, and his peak is more explosive in all areas than Rampage's. Rua made Rampage clam up from the first combo he threw to open the fight up. Rampage was instantly overwhelmed, Rampage would probably have just as many answers now against a Rua who's game has become so much better than when they first fought.

| How Rampage made the final is beyond me. Five years later the outcome is identical... If anyone says Rampage wins this fight, they need to be banned from the board for eternity... | |

He got matched up with Rashad, Randy and Vitor. The only one I had to even think about was Vitor

| It's not out of the question for Page to beat Shogun. Page has come a long way since they fought. Obviously he's much older and his skills have declined, however, Page did KO Wandy when most people thought he would get handled. | |

| The only people at their peak in the division that would beat Rampage are Rua, Machida and Wanderlei and Vitor beat Wanderlei in rd 1 and Machida in rd 2 in the bracket. |
