Brock subs off his back would be money errr I must eat crow on that, I read it somewhere like bloody elbow though in my defense. He doesn't speak Spanish. He speaks Mexican. There is a difference. um it's still spanish, just a different dialect

| My old roommate was the son of an immigrant and spoke Spanish as he learned it growing up, but his girlfriend who was also Mexican American said the type of Spanish he spoke was "dirty" and not legitimate, by Mexican or Spanish nation standards. They would argue about it, the argument would then move into a Spanish Language argument, and she'd presumably own him by the sounds of it. | |

Sure, but knowing a pidgin form and actually speaking the real language are distinct.

| the spanish that they teach in schools, at least in my experience, is the spanish that they speak in spain. Considering how many mexicans live here though you think they'd teach the mexican dialect. | |

- Those of you who’ve been keeping up with “UFC Primetime” have likely already noticed two things: 1) Visiting sparring partner Pat Barry is far and away the most engaging and interesting (read: smartest) personality inside Brock Lesnar’s DeathClutch gym. 2) Yeah, it’s a little weird for Barry to be training with Lesnar leading up to his UFC 121 clash with Cain Velasquez. Somehow I just don’t see those two guys having compatible personalities. Nonetheless, Barry’s status as an invited guest at DeathClutch is another clear indicator that The Dark Lord is making an effort to get his leather together in the striking department. That endeavor, according to a recent article in the Boston Herald, has also included a second straight training camp with noted boxing coach Peter Welch.
“I never learned just the basics in boxing,” Lesnar explains. “I wanted to go get a grassroots boxing coach to get my feet underneath me, to try to combine my wrestling positions and mold into a boxing stance, and just lower myself and learn to punch from my feet to my hands. And so he’s been a huge help -- just being able to understand the fundamentals of punching.”
Also, this is yet another situation that underscores how totally awesome it is to be Brock Lesnar. Here’s a guy who was already UFC heavyweight champion by the time he thought to himself, “Hey, you know what? I should learn a little bit of this crazy boxing stuff that everybody else is doing.” Must be nice. Lol

Lol ok, if you say so. Ok bro
"Brock is faster and more agile then Cain", um no he's not, "Well Rogan says......"
This was the full post
I know what I'm talking about, watch the Primetime you can see how they both move, Brock's gift is his unique quickness and agility for a man his size, he has talents other places obviously but those are his main attributes.
Cain - Speed, Quickness, Agility, Striking, (I'm not saying cardio cause Brock is a freak there too)
Brock - Size, Strength, Wrestling, (I'm still giving him the edge), Punching Power, Submissions (Cain has looked bad here in great situations), Ability to take damage
You didn't seriously give an edge in submissions to Brock, did you? He submits a grappling dummy, and all of a sudden he's good with submissions? You also gave him an advantage in ability to take damage? Uhhhh.... I saw Brock running away and cowering to avoid taking more hits standing. Cain got hit by some of the hardest punches I've ever seen from Kongo, and he kept coming forward and was even able to land takedowns. That's what I call taking damage. And the wrestling advantage clearly will be Cain's. Brock won't be able to hold Cain down just like he couldn't hold Couture down. And if Cain gets on top of Brock, he's not letting him up nearly as easily as Shane did at the end of round 1 of their fight.

He worked and transitioned for it as well. I have yet to see Cain so much as attempt a submission with serious intent so the submission edge would have to go to the man who has at least demonstrated something there. Are you really trying to say Kongo hits harder than Shane Carwin? Whether or not Brock took them well or not is irrelevant, he took them is the bottom line.

And if Cain gets on top of Brock, he's not letting him up nearly as easily as Shane did at the end of round 1 of their fight. Yes I did, whether or not he's a jj wiz at this point is not important, we've seen Cain is numerous good positions so far and look like he had no clue how to even apply a RNC, seems like he read the first page of Grappling for Dummies then put it down. Brock at least has shown he's learning and has a very solid trainer in Rodrigo Medeiros. On ability to take damage, are we even going to argue this? yeah Brock still doesn't know how to react to getting hit, but he took punishment from a guy that hits harder then anyone else in MMA like no other, that was prime Nog walking zombie-esque. Wrestling, that's merely your opinion, Brock's pedigree would suggest otherwise, and even if we say it's even, I'll take the much bigger stronger man with equal wrestling ability.

| They put up a big billboard by house this morning. UFC - Brock Lesnar in big words and little words below it. A picture of Brocks face takes up about 2/3rds of it. Not even the # of the UFC event, or the Name Cain and this is Hispanic Cali. The milks gonna go bad the udders are gonna go dry I think in a bit in the ass kind of way. | |
