I think Cain is better then Carwin. He poses alot of problems for Brock. Of course we all still realize that the Hulk in the Octagon can do anything??? this should be a good fight.

Yes, "big" wrestlers, 5-11 250 isn't 6-3 280, skill level is Cormier based off recentness, but Brock is right there IMO.

Brock looked absolutely ripped. Maybe I just haven't seen him in awhile but it stood out even moreso than normal

Carwin was tossing a severely rocked and panic mode Brock Lesnar after having just nailed him with the kind of shots that derail trains. It's not exactly a model to base the argument off of. Neither is the fact that Brock took down and choked out a Carwin who didn't even have enough gas to blink let alone defend himself. Bringing in Carwin is very unlikely for either fighter at this point, what with Carwin being on the cusp of number one contendership should he win his next fight or two.

Brock with the beard looks like one of those "Bears" that goes hunting for "Cubs". He needs to shave that thing.

When did he toss him? he rocked him with punches, while rocked Brock shot for a takedown which was stuffed, he got rocked some more, dropped to his knees sort of and ended up on his back, no where did Carwin come close to tossing him. Brock is right there with Cormier, he only gets the edge due to recentness in terms of wrestling activity.

Brock is NOT there is Cormier and at no point would he be as good as Cormier got. Cormier is a veteran of the Olympic circuit which hones wrestling skills significantly. D1 champions cannot pin the guys on the Olympic circuit anymore than highschool champions can pin the top college guys. Brock never entered the draft and signed as a free agent 6-8 years after his college career was over. Cormier went directly to the NFL.


Brock Lesnar isn't the best HW wrestler in the UFC, much less outside of it. The stats and basic logic bare that out.

It's nice to see you guys finally acknowledging my point about Lesnar not being active in wrestling though, finally...
