| Following a terrible decision win over the Korean Zombie, Leonard came back last night and was made to look like an amateur that had one week of boxing training while being throughly outclassed by Hominick. YET, he won on 1 card and was given a round on 2 others. What are your theories on why his non-technical, telegraphed, whiffing punches that create a breeze in the arena are somehow scored as points by the judges? | |

| Some judges are converted Umpires and think they are counting strikes

| What happens is, when you're there, at certain angles you can't see that he's only hitting arm. You hear the shot, and assume it landed. I was at WEC 47 in Columbus when he got that draw with Roop. I thought Garcia should have won the fight. When I came home and watched it closeup on my tv, I had to wonder if I was really drunk or something. He clearly misses most of his shots, but when you hear it, and see fighters backing up, you just assume they're hits.
EDIT: And judges really suck. | |
