| Excerpt of fightnews's write up of the entire Morales PPV:
Three division world champion and Mexican boxing legend Erik Morales (50-6, 35 KOs) returned to knock out Willie Limond (33-3, 8 KOs) in round six on Saturday night at the Monumental Plaza de Toros Mexico in Mexico City. Morales seemed to shake off the ring rust after a few rounds and finally dropped Limond three times with body shots in round six to end it. Time was 2:46.

| I wouldn't read too much into the victory. Limond has a record of 33-3 (8 KOs) record, but he hasn't beaten anyone decent. His wins are basically against substandard competition. Every time he has stepped up he has gotten stopped and/or retired. Against Alex Arthur, Kahn (in Kahn's 12th pro fight), and now Morales. | |

| Morales didn't look good, but still good enough to beat fighters the calibre of Limond. Limond actually won the first couple of rounds. Morals finally got to him w/ liver shots.
Bob Sheridan went on an editorial rant about his love for the alphabet organizations, and chastised those who are critical of their importance. He noted that Ring Magazine is "arrogant" and he hates when people use the derogatory term "alphabet soup". Sheridan advised all fans to attend each of the alphabet conventions as he does.
I am not kidding. | |

you really must be kidding!! I wish I was. Another Integrated Sports debacle. The low production values are bad enough, but having to listen to Bob 'The Buffoon' Sheridan blathering on makes the telecast pretty much impossible to stomach. The man is an imbecile. | |
