One of the real easy choices on the list.

The Filipino great Francisco Guilledo, better known as Pancho Villa.

The first Filipino world champion and arguably the greatest flyweight ever to fight (though I think that guy we hear about tomorrow). A whirling dervish in the ring.

A tragic and unnecessary end at only 23. Villa acted irresponsibly and sadly it killed him.

Honorable mentions go to middleweight champ Rodrigo Valdez, Fernando Vargas, Israel Vasquez, Wilfredo Vasquez and 1920's lightweight Benny Valger.

I might have put Ben Vilaflor in over Vergas, but that's a quibble.

Here is Pancho beating the faded Jimmy Wilde
