144 wins, over 100 KO's, 20 over ranked guys, 5 wins over HOFers, Featherweight champ when he had to retire at 30 after a car accident.
Tough to argue with. Except look at this cast of Honorable mentions:
Salvador Sanchez, Mike Spinks, John L. Sullivan, Max Schmeling and Freddie Steele(Gaaaawd what a puncher).
I might have dropped in Vicente Saldivar over Steele. Young Stribling too.
Because we can never get enough here's a little Chava

Expected and well deserved. Sandy was one of greatest KO artists ever. This is such a competitive letter, I'd be happy with an honorable mention.

maybe not the best ever, but my favourite is young stribling.going about 280 pro bouts & having less than 20 defeats & only 1 ko loss amazes me.also i think he once fought over 50 bouts in one year.a fight every week!
