| It could only be the Pittsburgh Windmill Harry Greb http://www.ringtv.com/blog/2228/the_best_of_all_time_az_greb/Over 250 wins, middleweight king, only man to defeat Tunney, beat HOFers on over 20 occasions, hammered ATG light heavies over and over again and made Jack Dempsey repeatedly look bad in sparring sessions. My favorite Greb stat. Is 45-0 with six wins over HOFers. He did that in 1919. Honorable mentions to both Gibbons brothers, Joe Gans, Kid Gavilan and Emile Griffith. Would have been nice to include Bazooka Gomez. | |

| Greb is the only fighter who surpasses Robinson in quality wins. The more I study the man,the more his accomplishments amaze me.Hoping they pick Hagler tomorrow, but they'll probably pick Holmes. | |

Man I'd take Marvin in that matchup too with a nod to Fighting Harada and the Hitman.

| obvious choice. i just wish that i could see footage of some of grebs fights.
on another note, i cant believe that armstrong got the nod over ali. they should at least put ali down for C for clay. im pretty pro ali though so maybe im just bias.

You've got two of the top 6-7 fighters of all-time there. One has what is probably the single most impressive feat in the history of the sport with the three simultaneous titles and the other was a boxing revolution. One of those things where both sides would be right.
