| Ring.com has spoken. Their choice is Jack Johnson. They Admit their criteria includes "impact" on the sport and that from a purely in-ring accomplishment perspective Eder Jofre might be more deserving. But either way it is tough to quarrel too much. http://www.ringtv.com/blog/2244/the_best_of_all_time_a_to_z_jack_johnson/The honorable mentions include Jofre, Jim Jeffries, Lew Jenkins, Beau Jack and Roy Jones Jr. I'd argue that light heavyweight Harold Johnson belongs ahead of Jenkins, Jack and Jones. Lew Jenkins is a guy we don't talk about enough. A CRUNCHING lightweight/welterweight puncher and a world class party animal from Texas. He had wins over Fritzie Zivic, Bob Montgomery and Lou Ambers. | |

| Just read the bio of Eder Jofre. Amazing. I need to study the lower weight divisions more. When BW is concerned, my knowledge comes in with Carolos Zarate, Lupe Pintor, Ruben Olivares and the rest of the Mexican greats that went to war in the LA Coliseum.
Now for the letter "K." I'm drawing a blank here. Can't wait for "L" though. | |

| There was no way it was going to be anyone else, Johnson made a huge impact on the sport.
Oh and if either Klitschko's are awarded K I will invade Ring's offices. |

| If they are making the impact argument now it seems like Ali is more deserving for A (or C if they want to play it like that).
No quarrel because I love Johnson, but they should've gone with Jofre if that's what they felt. |
