While my choice would have been Bob Fitzsimmons I have no problem with this. One of the most remarkable heavyweights in history. Is there a more heartwarming moment in the annals of the ring than when the count over Michael Moorer reaches ten and Big George, wearing the same red trunks that he wore in Zaire, looks to the heavens and then drops to his kness to pray and give thanks?

The honorable mentions are Ruby Robert, Jackie Fields, bareknuckle great James Figg, Bob Foster and Smokin' Joe Frazier.

Perfect choice even though watching Foreman demolish Frazier breaks my heart every time.

Good choice. I don't know why, but Joe Frazier completely escaped me. Now we're off to "G." Wilfredo Gomez, Eddie Gregory, Victor Galindez, Joe Gans, etc. I don't know if this is correct, but I suspect their winner will be, Wilfredo Gomez.

Zarate is a run away winnner for Z. I don't see any competition for him. If he's watching this, he's sitting pretty somewhere just waiting for his letter to turn up.
