| Moviemakers are loons?
Unless of course you really find it credible that the Clinton Administration was what tried to kill me in 1993 as opposed to the Islamic nutjobs who rented the damned truck.

| Not really anything special, I could say Big Ben will get blown up and there's a good chance it could happen. |

People STILL don't get it. The term Ground Zero for the WTC came out of the 1993 bombing. Those of us who worked there made daily jokes about how we'd get hit again by the Islamic nutjobs. The expectation was it would be a nuke. Hence the use of the term Ground Zero. There was a LOT of gallows humor about the WTC in those years. Read up on a guy named Rick Rescorla for the guy who REALLY understood the implications. A Brit transplant and an American hero. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Rescorla

| No dumb ass the term "ground zero" comes from the term "ground zero" which means the area of impact or origin site/worst effected areas of disaster/bomb/meteor/earthquake whatever.
ground zero noun Definition of GROUND ZERO 1 : the point directly above, below, or at which a nuclear explosion occurs 2 : the center or origin of rapid, intense, or violent activity or change; broadly : center 2a 3 : the very beginning : square one

| The term "ground zero" was used at the blast site in Oklahoma. The reason it was called ground zero both times is because that's the most logical and common term for any sort of blast site. Jesus H. Christ. I'd rather talk to LTFG just now. | |

| I'm here for you Wolf... But I agree with Marble. I've never really thought about it, but I'll take a guy's word for it who was there and watched the evolution of the phrase over a guy who was likely playing hide and seek with the other kids when it happened. Actually, I gotta bail and take the kids golfing. Good luck with Marble... I don't think he's going to duck your wild swings any more than I do... | |

| If the WTC had been built the day before the attack the site would have been called "ground zero". The just means the epicenter of a blast site. Using that to substantiate conspiracy theories is mind numbingly stupid. | |
