Where does Kenny Florian go from here ?

He's now 34 and seems to end up always being the bridesmaid in the UFC Lightweight division. Is it time for Kenny to move up or should he move to a different organization ? Or should Kenny retire with his health and focus on commentating ?

no really he should find a few interesting fights to end his career on.

he should try to fight a top LW without completely changing his normal game plan

He stays at LW and keeps fighting obviously

Kenny Florian vs Aussie George I'm a fan of both but I think this would be a good fight and if the Aussie pulls it off he would get elevated to the next title shot.

I heard he's planning on opening up a center for kids who don't read good and want to learn how to do other things good too.

Kenny will become the mini-Franklin. He will be used by the UFC to fill non-title cards to fight in interesting matchups. I don't see it going any other way. I'm saying Kenny fights about 3 more times and hangs em up.

Except Franklin won and defended a title.

I mean post Anderson Rich Franklin. Not that Kenny would have a career that would ever even sniff Ace's. You know what I mean though.

Come on Wolf follow me here. I'm not comparing entire careers to entire careers. I'm saying just like how Rich Franklin was used by the UFC to fight interesting fights to fill cards once it was clear he wouldn't challenge for the MW title again. He was just used when the UFC needed him to fill a card with an interesting fight.
Kenny will now take on that same role. That is all I'm saying, Kenny will be given the same duties.

I know exactly what you are saying, I get it. Nate is good comparison to Kenny.

If I was Kenny and had heard Dana's comments at the post fight conference I'd move to Strikeforce.

Who else would give Kenny the royal treatment that the UFC has? He was on the verge of getting his 3rd shot at the title. UFC has treated Kenny very well, Kenny shouldn't say a damn word about the UFC.

Being called a choker is royal treatment ?

I'm kind of suprised Dana said that about Kenny. He seems like one of the management pets that they will always offer a job to...He'll call Kenny a choker, which is some ways is true but he won't admit Stephan Bonnar sucks.

I found it very disrespectful, especially coming from a bald suit.
